alright as a dedicated Yoda user on ranked matches on xbl I’m calling out all the starwars fans, and fans of obscure characters and non haters to help keep yoda and vader alive for tournament appearances. The way to do this is to go vote.

Theres some regional ban poll on 8wayrun.com on the forums in general soul Caliber 4 threads. The polls up for a week and 3 days have passed over 500 hundred have voted and its super close but the force is winning just barely. I feel there is potential in gaining overall fighting game knowledge and the progression of fighting charters in general locked within these two characters. I know yoda gets rocked sometimes but hes still super fun and deserves a chance just like Little Anni anyways thanks for your time and please help if possible.

as for yoda, the problem i see people have with fighting him is because it’s different, not only is it different but to their eyes its worse than picking sean against a vet.

i personally have no problems with using yoda OR fighting him, i don’t just rely on premeditated combo’s so for me handling him is less of a chore, i love yoda :rofl:

but yoda vs yoda is the funniest and most tedious thing to watch, there must be a flow there in the mirror match but it’s not easy to find.

yoda vs yoda is weird cause there can only be one. Certain moves are advantageous against the mirror depending on the opponents agression.

How was vader broken i hadn’t heard this? He doesn’t seem broken against yoda since his force moves don’t seem to connect.

Both versions of the game have both characters now.

Neither character is broken to the best of my knowledge.

Banning them would be very smashboards-ish.

Don’t get me wrong: I think it’s stupid to have unlockable characters in a fighting game (fuck Smash Bros. Brawl and fuck DLC) at all. But if we’re comparing money spent to time wasted where money could have been made with said time, we’re comparing two very similar things.
