I’m looking forward to seeing any possible reference to other games, and how the sony characters/stages work together. I love that the game seems to have a focus on true combos and that what I’ve seen so far seem to be pretty cool.
Being a long time Sony fan and growing up with Sony characters is one of the reasons of why im excited and hyped up for the game but overall im looking forward to the competitive side of this game and how it will compare to Smash Bros. series. Especially since its a fighter with out any health system of some sort it just makes it more interesting to see how items, stages, characters, and supers will play a major roll to land a K.O. To make the game even more interesting Clockwork a major competitive marvel player is working on it along with the Sony Santa Monica Studios on this project which makes me even more hype for the game.
So far the thing im looking forward to the most is the roster. So far Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, and Big Daddy look great and will probably be my mains when I get my hands on the game hopefully sometime at the end of the year. Who I wish to be in the game would Gex from of course the Gex series. Although it would be unlikely that he will make it in but a man can dream can’t he?
I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of innovative gameplay ultimately makes it in. I know a lot of people are looking at this and immediately panning it as a “lol cheap Smash Brothers knockoff”, but I refuse to believe that it will end up being one. There’s a lot of great people working on PSASBR that have strong ties to the fighting game community, and I don’t see them letting us down with a lackluster title. Especially Seth who packed up and walked away from Capcom just to work on this.
Would love to play a casual fighter and smash down my opponents with Sweet Tooth and Big Brother!!!
I’m looking forward to eventually being able to play the game with friends and being able to have a few drinks and try out some stuff. I can definitely see this being the ‘party game’ with good company because you won’t really get mad at the game since you can talk about all of the good times you’ve had with the classic Sony characters.
I love the roster and how extensive it’s getting, Parappa definitely caught my attention, but Jak and I have had a lot of time together (as well as Ratchet). I’m definitely looking forward to how they’ve upped their arsenal for this game and what their ‘theme’(s) may be.
Looking forward to seeing if it’s a competitive game and if it has a great gameplay engine. I’m loving the character lineup the most.
I’m a huge fan of smash bros. Loved everything about it. As a kid, I used to imagine other companies versions of that game. Since xbox wasn’t that big yet, the 2 companies i though of were Sega and Sony. To see a Sony Smash game actually being made excites me, and the fact that they are trying to make it appeal to the FGC intrigues me. Can you make a game as fun as smash also fit into the FGC? I can’t wait to find out.
I’m also interested in the characters. Sony has a very wide range of characters, and mashing them together for this game is awesome. I personally am hopeing for a Disgaea character and some more JRPG characters, since that is a HUGE part of sonys life. I am worried they are going to be trying to showcase games only the west knows, and that will hurt them in the east. So far the cast is great, and I can’t wait to try out Sly, Jak, and kratos.
After playing it at EVO it seemed way more fun that i originally thought it would be. Not really like Super Smash Bros. Which is a good thing. Even thought there was a bunch of borderline broken stuff coming from numerous characters, i didn’t really feel like it was useless to use a certain character over another… except maybe SweetTooth… gotta do something about those mines.
I’m purely a character player when it comes to games and the main one i wanted is DANTE from DMC. If that leak is true than we get NEW DMC Dante and i’m actually fine with that because it’s still Dante. Out of the current characters i thought Kratos was fun, Killzone guy was cool too. Sly was awesome though, favorite of the current cast. I didn’t use Heihachi but he looked SWEET.
Anyway ya, i most likely don’t deserve the key because i already played the game a bit BUT I WANT ONE.
Well to be honest I just wanted to play it cause I think it’s fun? I mean,I like the stage you can use and i’m a big Twisted Metal & Smash Bros fan so I gotta jump on it. PSN+ was originally gonna have the beta or something like that but not anymore for some reason so this is my only chance to play it right now and test it.
The best part about this game is the celebration and collaboration of the many great franchises that has made up Playstation’s storied past. Through characters from seperate IP’s, mash up stages, items and rivalries, Superbot is putting together a cohesive product that will serve as an excellent stand alone title to add to Sony’s list of successful franchises.
Since the second this game was announced and it was revealed that i could pit sly cooper, parappa the rapper, sweet tooth, and kratos in an all out brawl i knew it was a dream come true and what im looking forward to the most is destroying all my competition as Sly building up my level 3 super and owning the comp on screen with it (including my friends or any other challengers)! What i love about the game so far even though i have never played it is being able to play with people on the vita as well as on the ps3 that just blows my mind and i cant wait till i can join the action!
i wanna try out nathan drake and parappa, i wanna find them combos lol. hopefully ill get a chance to play the beta soon
First off I’m crazy excited for this game I can’t wait to get it day one. I love how diverse the characters are and how it could go from a kids rhythm game to a first person shooter game and put them in a fighting game. I also like the level 3 supers look! I can’t wait to play as sly cooper and fat princess XD
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale gonna be the man moist makingest of all theh[ph{Y [OIUGHF{Py['klgh;1o’gu +)!*{TG{)"*GTF{ghuMISSINGNO[kh’as8ygPKMN
I’ve grown up with the PS since the very very beginning of the PSX… I remember playing assault rigs( a very unknown game and warhawk, as well as the classics like ratchet and Crash bandicoot)… Definitely looking forward to see characters like Ratchet and others put into a Fighting Game with a built in combo system, I also look forward to picking apart the characters that I love and trying to figure out really cool and unique things with them, PLUS, ratchet is just gonna be so cool in a fighting game!!! xD
Honestly Smash with all its items, stage dangers, and quirks is still the most fun I’ve ever had playing anything ‘competitively’. The very notion that members of our community are involved with a product that bears resemblance to it but is so much more than that just pushes me in hoping to be part of its beginnings. It’s refreshing to see the developer’s clear intention in it and to be honest it seems like the type of game that would be just infectious to play against others regardless of the setting, environment and so on. Coming from the joy I had (and still have) in promoting Skullgirls in a variety of ways I would be ecstatic to be part of this too. Here’s hoping that happens!
The game looks interesting , always was a Sony Fan(Ape Escape , FF7 , Yakuza , Uncharted , etc). Im looking forward to see if a game like this can become competitive , as well as combine the fighting style of the iconic Sony characters , should be fun.
What I am looking forward to see is what tournaments will have this game if EVO had this game it would be so much hype. Also I curious to see what other characters are going to be in the game
I’m looking forward to playing this with friends. None of my friends like fighting games but this has a very inviting look to it because of the recognizable cast of characters and they love smash brothers so finger crossed they enjoy this. I’m loving how different and unique the game looks, that might sound strange because of the Smash Bros comparisons but everything I’ve heard and seen makes it looks like such a different game. It’s like saying all 2d fighting games are the same or all shooters are the same. When it was first announce I thought it would be a fun smash brothers clone but then I heard about all the differences (meter system, no random item and level kills, timed mode only (since changed)) and at first I was upset because what I wanted was a smash clone. But watching people play and having it explained by the devs convinced me that I need to play this. Plus I like the group of guys behind the game and have faith in their ability to make a good fighting game.
Playstation All-Stars seems like it could end up to be a great game. With some cool gameplay mechanics (using super meter to get kills seems like it can be a great idea), an engine that can be used to be a fun casual game with friends and a good tournament game at various tournaments, including Evolution, and a great cast of characters (I’m really interested in playing as Nathan Drake, for one!), topped with FGC legends such as Ed Ma and Clockw0rk, the game should end up to be a great one for all audiences!
I would love to be in the beta to help test the game for everyone at Superbot.
