I’m looking forward to rocking out with Big Daddy.
Also looking forward to turning Battle Royale into a drinking game!
I’m looking forward to going crazy in a free-for-all with non-Nintendo characters for once and I really love how the stages are mashups of different games.
As an 09er I’m looking forward to fighting against 2012ers and reminding them of my seniority only when I win.
I’m not going to make my comment fancy.
I just want to continue the beat-down my brother in a smash-style game, and hey, if I can help the dev group make the game great, then why not kill two birds with one stone?
Blahblahblah wanna test the system blahblahblah omgsmashbrosisdabess blahblah.
Screw the formalities, I just wanna beat the piss outta Kratos.
Oh and I wanna kick-punch-chop Parappa’s balls off too. Since I couldn’t pass stage f**king one back in the day.
Sony has such a deep list of characters that are either exclusive to Playstation or started on Playstation. It’s going to be great nostalgia to see which characters are brought back to do battle with the newer generation of PS mascots. I’m personally hoping we get a Final Fantasy character. That and hopefully Dante so I can see who’d win between Dante, Kratos, and Heihachi! I’m so hype I have already pre-ordered this on PS3 and Vita because I don’t want to miss a moment!
I am interested in the fact that they are going for a new type of play style that most platform fighters don’t go for which is that you have to use your super to finish opponents which actually gives the game some form of meter management. I also appreciate that they are reaching out and receiving input from veterans of the FGC like clockwork, and Seth Killian. The blend of old and new characters, and the focus on actually involving the third parties which have been important to the consoles success are just the icing on the cake.
What I’m looking forward to most is having a “fighting” game that I can enjoy with my 6 year old daughter. From what I’ve gathered so far the game seems deep enough to enjoy at a serious level while at the same time being accessible to people who are very young or barely play video games. The character roster looks really good, I’m hoping to have Sackperson confirmed as a playable character though, as LBP is my daughter’s favorite game and I’m really interested to mess with Kratos and see all the differences between PS All-Stars and Mortal Kombat. What I love the most is that it’s going to feature cross platform multiplayer. I bought a PS Vita at US launch and I’ve been hoping for a game that I enjoy to have that feature.
I’m looking forward to being able to play some of my favorite Sony characters that I haven’t seen in a while (PaRappa, Sly Cooper, Jak) and even some of the more recent additions to the Sony Family (Fat Princess, Cole, Colonel Radec). Ever since I got into fighting games, I’d always wondered what these characters would be like and how they’d fare in a fighting game. Now I’ll get to try it out first hand and experience clashes with my friends with some of my favorite characters! Extremely excited for this opportunity.
What I love so far about the game is the mixing and mashing of different worlds, and the way everything and anything Sony has been incorporated into a brawl fest. Some of the stages seem really crazy and out there, and the way it has been implemented is mind blowing! It’s going to be nice to see cameos from all sorts of different Sony franchises. Really excited for this game, definitely want to try it out and see how much fun I’ll have with it!
I’ve grown up with Playstation all my life and a chance to play with some of the iconic characters over the years in a fighter which is being crafted to being a deep and competitive fighter has me very excited. Especially with some of the FGC’s iconic people working on it, I have very high hopes for this game.
Looking forward to the eventual reveal of Ratchet, I hope he has some weird shit like turning opponents to animals. And of course the RYNO.
From the footage of the netplay, it looks much more playable online than smash 64/Brawl. I just hope the FPS like netcode doesn’t effect it too much like in Max Anarchy.
Well, since a playstation was my first console as a kid I grew up with some of these characters,I was also a hug fan of super smash bros. So this game is like a combination of both of those things from my childhood, The combo system ( like many others) Is what really impresses me and sets this game apart from other games in the fighting genre, I also look forward to sitting down with a group of my friends and brawling it out as some of our favourite and iconic characters from the sony universe. The stages look exciting and diverse and character roster is amazing. The only two fighters I would love to see show up to the battle are Spyro and Crash, as those are two that really stood out during my childhood. Rayman wouldn’t be too bad either. Overall the game looks like it could be one of favourites
I love that’s it’s a bunch of awesome playstation chars battling it out like smash bros but unique. <3 big daddy.
I am looking forward to this game being fun to play and balanced. With the team they have behind it, the online modes should be solid. I love the idea of these characters from across Sony’s lineup coming together for a single game. I was never big on Smash, but I think this game has a shot to capture my interest.
I’m looking forward to playing this game and using all the wrasslin’ references I know whilst playing with my friends. I will learn how to play Parappa aka John Cena and learn how to break the walls down.
Really want to try this, and we have to see yet if the “meter:f:special:f:kill” system will differentiate PSAS: BR of smash bros giving its own personality.
I’m looking forward to one of the greatest crossover fighting games in history. I mean sure, Kratos, Cole, and Toro have made appearances in other fighting games (Heihachi is THE staple character of Tekken) but I never thought I would live to see Parappa the Rappa, Big Daddy, and Sly Cooper smashing each other. It looks really fun and is a unique riff on the classic Smash Bros. Formula. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I’m really interested in how they’re trying to do what Nintendo accidentally did with Melee. Make a game that can not only be fun with up to 4 people with familiar, and sometimes silly characters, but also one that can be played competitively in a way that anybody can recognize and understand. The “combo” system also really interests me, and with people such as Cl0ckwork and Seth Killian on the team I have high hopes that the system ends up feeling right. I really love the character choices so far, as I have been a Sony fan for a while. Parappa looks incredibly fun and the possibility of characters like Spike and Sir Dan make me incredibly excited for this game. I also really enjoy how they work on each stage to make it into a really interesting mash up between two Sony IP’s, I thought the God of War x Patapon stage was especially entertaining and well made.
I’m most excited to see what a serious fighting game team can do with a Free-For-All format, and more importantly I want to see how DOMINANT Heihachi is going to be!
I’m all about that Fat Princess. We about to be eatin’ dem cakes.
