Sony Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale Comment Thread

This game is going to be goty, I just cant wait to get it, im pre ordering my copy soon!

Getting a more competitive twist on the SSB formula is going to be great to me. What makes it even better is the ability to see all of the PlayStation’s history come together in one excellent place. I think my favorite thing about the game so far, though, is the fact that SuperBot actually cares about the gamers. There are very few companies these days that are doing everything for the fans, and SuperBot is one of them. Any company that can make me feel like I actually know the people working there will get a day one buy from me.

I’ve got to say i wasn’t so sure about this game at first, it seemed like a dream come true. Growing up through the playstation years, always through the Gens, i got sony’s system first. I love nearly everything about this game, from the mash up stages, to the confirmed characters. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the characters and can’t wait to see if the leaked information is confirmed. Hope i get a beta:), want to see just how great this game is.

The best thing about this game besides gameplay is that i can have a handheld copy so i can keep learning new tactics when im on the road

Hey I’m out in two months…
And this is crazy…
But here’s a beta code…
So play me maybe…

Kick punch its all in the mind, the game engine looks sick and will be great time. The things all teach are sure to beat cha, level three super with Heihachi is cheap ya. Now dont get cocky its gonna get rocky, Nathan Drake playing like its return of the mummy. Hmm yea i see your getting better, Kratos bulkin up like a oozed drenched shredder. C’mon now why don’t you fallow my words, I got one thing to say, this game is superb. Now i do really want to try the beta, so kineda , just send it to me lata.

What I’m looking forward to most about SPAS: BR is a game where newcomers can pick up pretty easily and still have a strong community for people looking to take this game to the competitive edge. It has been far too long since a game has come out where my friends and I can duke it out in an all star brawl.

What I love most about this game is how the fighters in SPAS: BR still retain their same design from their respective franchises and this way, players can enjoy playing with characters they’re familiar with from other games. I look forward to duking it out with Jak and Daxter and playing with many strong players!

I’m incredibly curious of the system itself and want to see how it is executed. With a bunch of old/traditional fighting game players involved in the game, I really want to see how they approach making a new style of fighting game. I really want to tinker, research and explore this game.

I’ve been a Playstation fan since I was little. Having owned a PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 I’ve always identified more with Playstation and its characters than others. I’m a huge fan of many characters that have been revealed for all-stars and I’ve enjoyed their own respective games immensely. I’m excited to play a fighting game with characters that I’ve all enjoyed, and I love the unique system for scoring KO’s, I’m looking forward to see how this plays out. I’m incredibly excited for this, and I’d be humbled to get a beta code. Thanks.

What are you looking forward to most in SPAS: BR? The characters I love cross over games. I’m so excited to see all the characters fighting each other and to see the rivals they pick for each set of guys!

What do you love about the game so far? Actually I love the stages. I find myself spending a lot of time looking at the stages in the background, which won’t help me much during actual gameplay. Something about the Patapons fighting Hades though is just awesome to me.

The familiar yet unique gameplay represented so far.

Looking forward to trying it.

I’m looking forward to Battle Royale because I’ve been a Sly Cooper fan every since the very first game. I pre-ordered Sly 4 and when I heard that the thieving raccoon himself was going to be in SPAS:BR I knew I had my number one character hands down. Even after I read some early reports that Sly cannot actually block . . .

Apparently he turns invisible instead of blocking. The sneakiness is all that can save him now.

What I love the most about the game is that I can imagine myself and my group of pals just sitting down and having some fun. It’s not always good to be at each other’s throats in every fighting game. Sometimes you need some off the wall entertainment starring some of your favorite characters in videogaming.

SPAS:BR was an immediate pre-order for me. I’m looking forward to having a lot of good times and hopefully not killing myself when I turn invisible with Sly!

I love how I can see some all my favorite characters duke it out and seeing a game like this being developed to be competitive. Can’t wait to land EWGFs on sony mascots with heihachi.

I am looking forward to the fighting mechanics, how the community will start to develop, and the hope to seeing great tournaments. I love how they are gathering these amazing character to fight and beat each other up. I am also interested in the story of how these characters meet each other and why are they fighting for. :3

Personally, I feel that Playstation All Stars is an interesting direction that is being taken on the part of Sony. Everyone is aware of the fact that this is Sonys attempt at the nostalgic, fan friendly brawler that has been making Nintendo money all these years, but it seems that this game is taking a new approach. A lot of what had been going into the development of the game has made it a very unique game, even before its release. There are multiple things this game has the potential to effect, two of which are the community, and the way that fighting games are developed.
This is where it becomes interesting, I’m more excited for the effect this game may (or may not) have on fighting games in the future.
Also codes done hurt.

I am looking forward to stomping on fools like a bat out of Rapture with Big Daddy and funkifying jive turkeys with Parappa. I love how the stages contain different games clashing with each other.

I’m looking forward to playing a good crossover game with very unorthodox fighting mechanics that’s headed by a bunch of dudes who know what their doing, rather than a game that has to be gutted and have multi-page long rules lists in order to be deemed competitive.

I look forward to the whole game in general and would love to critique this game to perfection. Also if I were to get a code for this weekend, I would look forward to being able to game all day without my wife nagging me. I got lucky this Saturday, she has a bridal shower to go to. Lol.

I’m actually looking foward to the mechanic of the game, to see if the awesomeness of playstation characters can be set on a mashup game.
And I love that they include old and new characters from diferent games this made an oportunity for an epic mashup from diferent eras

What I’m looking to get out of this game is competitive play that is fun. I’ve played the Smash Bros. series and enjoyed them. This game seems to take what I enjoyed from those games and amps it up to a whole new level. The game play looks crisp, the characters are awesome, the stages are amazing. It has that same Smash feel but with so much more. I can’t wait for this game to be released, so that my friends and I can have another game to make us even more salty.
If anything, I’d want to see more characters from older series make an appearance int the game. Sony Santa Monica knows how to make great games-this one is no exception. Also when you have a great mind like Seth Killian on the team you just know that the game is gonna go somewhere.
Hopefully, this game will bring new competitors into the FGC scene and more support for this awesome game.
