Idea for the Dhalsim Ultra. Can you damage Fuerte a bit first so that he’s close to Ultra, then have him gain the Ultra meter as he’s getting attacked by the Ultra (and attacking Dhalsim) then end the sequence with a Fuerte Ultra?
I think this combo video is so amazing that even after seeing many time as soon as it strated i couldn t stop it till the end.

Why not just start with full ultra?
To make it easier for people to avoid the discussion?
I think it’s flashier to start off NEAR full ultra because that gives meaning to getting hit by Dhalsim’s ultra. Otherwise, why not just do the sequence avoiding getting hit by Dhalsim’s ultra in the first place? Gaining ultra during the sequence adds synthesis to the “combo.” It’s not like it’s being done for damage anyway, it’s just done to look good.
I don’t disagree, but your idea has more potential than that.
Also, getting hit by Dhalsim’s ultra is necessary to keep doing lvl2 Focus Attacks. You can’t do lvl2 FA xx dash, lvl2 FA without knocking them down. So the other downside to going with ultra is that i would’ve had to stop at four Focus Attacks.

Very nice combos, in particularly liked the Rose combo & connecting EX hand without FADC on Seth. Multi- FA’s wth Fuerte was a funny combo, nice use of Dhalsims Ultra

So two annoying things about Fuerte …
For some reason you can’t do Focus Attack xx dash back, Propeller Tortilla so that OTG combo everyone’s seen can’t be expanded from the front. Though i don’t know, maybe you can do it if you trade lvl3 Focus Attack with a jab or something.
He can combo air throw like lvl3 Focus Attack xx dash forward, vertical jump, air throw on the way down but i guess lvl3 FA crumple stun takes slightly longer because you can’t do it off a lvl2 Focus Attack.

Yeah, Gen would be dope. Actually i have ideas for Ken, Fei Long, Cammy, Blanka, and Abel but i can probably get some mileage out of any character. The only ones i don’t want to deal with are Rufus and maybe Viper, cuz they’re kinda played out.

As for Ryu … i’ve got an idea for an oldschool SF2 series combo challenge that probably nobody will be able to solve but i’ll post it anyway - probably next Friday. Maybe i’ll include one more SF4 Ryu bonus combo along with the announcement.
Other than that, i think people are starting to get kinda tired of me always making Guile, Ryu, and Gief videos.
That why I ask for a fei lon or better a console character exclusive combo …

Hey Maj, I just got an ascii pad and was wondering if you could help me out a little. I cant seem to figure out how to cancel a focus attack. Also canceling a fireball with a F.A. seems to be like the frame data suggests, but if I add a crouching MK before the fireball, I have to add to the amount of time from the fireball to FADC. Why would that be? This is w/ Ryu btw. I read some very helpful info at this site:

Among other things, it talks about inputting something yourself, then editing the sequence later. Do you know if this is pertaining to the ascii pad, or a different program pad. If it means an ascii, do you have any idea how its done? Maybe that will help me figure out how to FADC, or anything else for that matter.

Frame data isn’t very useful for program pad sequences. It’s good as a general estimate but you have to do most of the work yourself by trial and error, because there’s a ton of stuff that frame data doesn’t cover, like hitstop timing and cancel windows.
If you add c.MK before the fireball, you have to wait for the c.MK hitstop to end before the fireball starts before you can cancel to FADC. The game still lets you cancel into Focus Attack early but you can’t buffer the dash that early.
