It’s been bothering me that none of the usual suspects in Japan have stepped up to make SF4 combos. A lot of people have been saying that the game engine is too basic for fancy combos, but i think it has some potential. So i’m gonna try to put together a new tool-assisted SF4 combo video every two weeks, starting with everyone’s favorite fireball machine:
Everything should be explained in the transcripts but in case i’ve missed anything or if something’s unclear, please don’t hesitate to ask either here or there.
Also i’ve posted a few combo challenges which have been getting a really great response so far. I’m hoping people keep partipating in these because we’ve been seeing some very creative solutions postead as video responses on u2b.
Nice video, does show some very edgy combos, & who knows, you might stumble upon something that is pretty useful.
I know if only the first hit of Rufus’s Jump roundhouse hits he can follow with anything, easy to hit a single one if you hit them coming down while they’re coming up from a jump. I’m pretty sure you could pull off J.HK -> J.HK -> HP Snake Strike -> Ultra
& i’m curious as to whether J.HK (Single hit) -> Messiah kick + LK followup -> FADC -> LP Snake Strike -> Ultra would work. I am pretty sure you can do it without the jump kick start.
