Birch beer is top tier yo.
Root beer lovers seriously need to try Virgil’s Root Beer–all real ingredients (spices, cane sugar, all that good ish) and no artificial flavoring, colors, sweeteners, or high fructose corn syrup. So creamy. SO delicious. Comes in glass bottles, if that helps any. Easily god-tier of root beers (sold widely in grocery stores) and in my god-tier for sodas. IBC was my favorite root beer before this; I can’t go back.
Top Tier:
Stewart’s Orange and Creme
Virgil’s Root Beer
IBC Root Beer
Red Rock Cola
Jones… pretty much anything**

This is the second time somebody has said this. It hasn’t gotten any less incorrect with the passage of time.
Your rootbeer ranking says otherwise!
Have you ever had genuine A&W fast food restaurant root beer? It is insanely good. They may have laced it with cocaine.
I have. I’d say it’s probably the best out of the other rootbeers you ranked… but IBC not above anything else? For shame.
I have not had IBC in a long time, so it is possible that I just haven’t given it a recent enough shot.
But, going purely by my most current evidence, no. Just no.
A more obscure soda is Afri-Cola http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afri-Cola It’s damn good.
I love Thomas Kemper Rootbeer.
I can vouch for this. Carbonated Spring Water + Kool Aid (Or Any powered drink mix) is pretty amazing. I use Crystal Light Pink Lemonade with it, so good…
I saw a bottle of that in a store not long ago, what is it like? I might need to try it.
Mannnnn fuck this tier list! I’m from the hood.
-throwback 50 cent faygo in the glass bottle
-throwback 50 cent juice in the squirt bottle
-throwback quarter juice into Lays(potato chip) air combo
-throwback quarter juice into 25 cent strawberry shortcake!!!
-throwback quarter juice into Airheads(candy) combo.
I can go on forever.
So, in one fell swoop, GM has dropped considerably in my rankings. Pepsi over Coke? That’s like saying the remake of Psycho is better than the original. Coke is god tier. I don’t even understand how people drink Pepsi. It’s horrible. Also, anything that isn’t Coke is horrible. For me, the rankings go: Fountain Coke (McD’s being the best) > can of coke > glass bottle of coke > plastic bottle of coke
Anything else is just shit. I will literally make my decision on a fast food restaurant based on them having Coke. I’ve walked out of a place before because they had Pepsi, that’s how serious I am about my love of Coke.
Mountain Dew, BTW, is an abomination. It’s the soda equivalent of the holocaust.
Im not going to get into tiers… but no one mentioned
Vernors Ginger Ale (imo the best ginger ale soda ever… got a stomach ache…drink it warm an youll feel better…)
Canada Dry CREAM SODA (yes they make it)
Barqs RED CREAM SODA (yes they make it)
Crush Blue Rasberry Soda
Jamaican (forgot the brand but has a cat on the front wit sunglasses) champange soda n cream soda
Tahitian Treat
Mountain Dews Blackout edition (perfect alcohol chaser)
Rock Creeks Peach Soda
The first time I had Virgil’s was eye opening. I realized that in all my years of drinking IBC, A&W, etc, I’ve never had real root beer.
Folks, do yourselves a favor and plunk down a little extra for Virgil’s. Its $4 for a 4 pack at my store, and worth every penny.
Whats everyones opinion on RC Cola? And yes, Big Red is top tier!
RC is definitely near top.
Fun fact: in taste tests where participants are unaware of what they’re drinking, Pepsi and Coke tend to fare equally well against one another. In tests where participants are aware, Coke fares much better. Conclusion: a greater emotional attachment to marketing iconography is prevalent in Coke drinkers as opposed to Pepsi drinkers.
That ought to give you something to think about when your wife rapes you in the butt, you pro-establishment whore.
imma say it now… I can taste the difference between coke and pepsi, and my tongue’s probably half numb
not even gonna do the coke > pepsi thing. pepsi is just completely out of its league. it’s not even about a tier list
I can taste the difference. Most people can, I’m sure. I’m not sure of your point here.
nevermind, I think I see what you were saying
