Waiting for someone “cough” to make it happen :wonder: or if anyone else can host I would be down to go for sure. I might also hit up FFA for those flashback tournaments even though I have a feeling SNK will have low numbers.

I’m down to hang out this upcoming friday Exiled and run some 2002 and 3S. School is merc’in my time these days.
GG’s yesterday FYCN, next time we do some more A2, we should be learning it even more.
Also next sunday I’m good to go for sure. No exam’s for weeks…
I start school this week and it’s going to be my time consuming quarter :shake:. I should be free on weekends but I’ll be pretty darn busy from the looks of it. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Went to FFA recently after hearing they will have a Flashback tourney. But the only old school games recently put are Vampire Savior and KI. The thing is…KI has been there for awhile now. In any case, a lot of people were trying out Vampire Savior; I was very surprised since the second Darkstalkers was a little more popular than this one.
What I’m wondering is: Why no Samurai Shodown II love there (i.e. no cabinet set up) yet…or even part IV?
In any case, much love to the classics.

I’m looking into a neo geo button setup before I install this. We could do it on a japanese cabinet, but they’re more curved than normal, and your thumb rests on A instead of your index finger.
UMK3:
We’re planning on drilling the holes correctly for an accurate button layout. And, the guy we bought the board from delayed shipment, so the board isn’t in yet.
A3:
I haven’t installed it yet, I have the board and am waiting for an OK from the boss.
Most of this stuff is delayed because of our current work on SF4, we’re building a new cabinet and it’s eating most of our time for other things.
A3 and SS2 are in the multicabinet though if you want to play it there. I’ve been playing VS with a few people and we’re really getting into it.
If I do the roster I was thinking of for FB2, I won’t have all of the games installed. Practice will have to be done on the multicade, however, when the tournament comes, it will be on the original arcade board and not on the multicade.
Though, if I can get a 4-game neo geo board, I might be able to work something out.

I think that Garou: Mark of the Wolves and King of Fighters 2002 are obvious for the first two.
I was thinking Samurai Shodown V, but I think we’d have to get the board for 5+.
There’s always Fatal Fury Special.

Definitely king of fighters 2002 I know many guys who won’t go to FFA cause there is no KOF2002.
We’ve got KoF98UM at least. We don’t have a big SNK crowd, but a 4-slot Neo Geo could change that.
I wish we could put Samurai Shodown 5 Special in there, but I’m not so sure how possible that is.
I’m thinking Fatal Fury Special and World Heroes Perfect. But there’s also Last Blade 2 to think about.
