There are tournaments both Fri and Sat, as well as lots of casuals. Dont be afraid to stop by if you do want to play.
that local champ dude I’ve beaten before in 3S, but I didnt really know he was a KOF player till like last year. He is real good though, as he understands ‘cut up’ advancing. Something a lot of pro’s tend to do, when they short jump, then do something and do it again, mainly a style you see a lot with Iori. For example Iori would do like short hop jC, land then cB cA, then short hop jC again, try this and watch how many players don’t even guard that second jC, its weird how it works, this is just a small example. That guy is a tad to arrogant though I think, but hes better then others simply because hes more patient, and hes really solid in his defense.

Or one of his favorite tricks is to short jump and poke, then quickly guard after because the opponent will guard cancel. Then during the lag of the guard cancel after they miss he’ll do a super or combo and it’ll hit them. Something I definitely need to work on.
I would love to play the guy myself one of these days and or even just watch him play.
Yeah he’s the best KOF player at A.I. … I’m always playing against him… I learn something new every time we play. There are also a lot of other players that are real good at A.I. too bad that half of them aren’t going to EVO… even though Wicked Element, Numakie and I keep bugging them to go.

There’s a chance I might start having thursdays available to play some KOF. Right now, KOF 98 UM is the freshest game, so I guess I would like to play that one.

Well I don’t remember KOF XI… Tokido won 98 UM. It was a really close match.
He took second. He went to sleep when the top 3 matches were going to be played.

- Tokido by forfeit (0 losses)
- Sabin by DQ (1 loss)
XI didn’t happen due to the 5 hour free NW tourney

OK, I knew 98 had some weird outcome… but I think I was playing WHP or recording some matches during the 98 thing. Yeah that Neowave tourny took tooooo long… I was sad SST was cancelled.
