I here ya on that…as much as I hate to admit it, Capcom is doing its thing, at least trying to anyway…and everyone else is starting to follow suit. From what I heard about KOF XII, its back to the team battle 3 on 3 like it use to be; I think they should keep the same formula from KOF 98 UM, speed it up a little and make small tweaks here and there to figure out what works. Other than that, I’m definitely looking forward to it!
SF4…I guess I’m looking forward to it…that shit should have been out a loooooooooooooonnnnnnnggggggg time ago IMO. But whatever I guess they trying to bring it back since 3S has been around so long…yawn…
That other tag team fighter they releasing…Tasu-something vs. Capcom…havent seen anything on it yet but I heard thats its something of the MvC nature; something I wouldn’t mind getting back into (plus it’d be a good game to get good at on the sticks since I’m still in the process of learning them anyway :wgrin:)
Definitely can’t wait till the new Melty Blood game comes out…I’ve been playing V.B on my laptop for the past month or so and I love the game…got me back into playing fighting games as a whole actually, as well as Arcana Heart.
Saw some screenshots of Blazblue but thats about it, but it looks promising…
So I suppose this is the year of the fighter…I hate to say it but Capcom is the one who’s bringing the pain too…oh well, I started out on Capcom before I got into SNK anyway so I can’t really hate:rofl:
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is Capcom’s last second desperation move (DM, lol) to give us something like MvC, since they are not gonna retrieve Marvel licenses.
The problem is that very few ppl know of Tatsunoko.
Blazblue is gonna be the shit, since GG is supposed to be over somewhat.
If my CPU was fast enough, I’d play MBAC, but I’m just gonna wait til MBAA hits the PS2/PC.
XII is gonna be good, but there is still too little news.
BTW ppl, I’m training my ass off for Evo.
And I might need an NGBC partner.
TvC is gonna own everything for free even tho SF4 is gonna get moar attention… but im still looking forward to XII even tho not alot of new info has been put out on it, it hasnt flown under the radar for me… strangely enough tho i havent really played a KOF i could get attached to with the exception of 98 and i wonder if XII will have that wow factor that i usually get from SF style games… never dug NGBC, only slightly amused by MOTW, fell asleep on the OG FF scene… but there are gems like RB2, SamSho 5sp/Tenka, KOF98 so i dont know im kinda torn on whether or not XII or any of the new SNKPlaymore games are bankable
Yeah I haven’t really been a fan of NGBC, especially since I played KOFXI before that game…it just seems so slow and choppy compared to KOF XI. I played SS5 but wasn’t really into it…the first three SSs were the best IMO but haven’t really gotten into the game. I haven’t touched MOTW since I go it on Dreamcast back in '03 and I didn’t even know that a second one was coming out.
I always got into the SNK fighters bcuz I just got tired of playing Capcom fighters all the time, plus I like the artwork they usually have on there games and the fact that you have to be extremely techical in their fighters as well, although the Alpha series is still my favorite out of all the SFs.:wgrin:
The place where I got my PS2 from closed down so I don’t really know any new place I can recommend on the PS2 mod. If anything you can always get swap magic I suppose but or HD loader which might be cheaper. I know certain games have problems with those 2 options but it’s better than nothing.

I’m leaning toward the new MB, AH2, and KOF XII…
And I hope to see some surprises as well. I still gotta get my TV and PS3 before even thinking about playing the new stuff lol. As far as finding where you can get your PS2 modded, just google it and something should pop up…unless they just dont do it anymore…
The problem about the PS2 mods though is that even if you find a site that say they can mod whatever system, some aren’t legit sites. I had to do some research on sites that weren’t scams so I wouldn’t get ripped off. Just make sure the site you find for mod PS2 stuff isn’t a scam site.
Man I went to FFA today to check out the quals for SSF2T and 3s for SBO, and while I was playing KOF 98 UM, I found out that on the 2p side HK does not work at all! Plus the 1p side stick is so garbage; you have to literally yank that shit to get out moves its ridiculous. Why FFA why!!!???!!!
