I was at FFA on Sat at around 1:30pm till about 4:00pm to see if anyone was going to enter the last minute Garou tournament. I couldn’t stay for the 98UM tournament since I already had plans later on in the night with friends. I’ll go to the next one and enter both to see how things turn out for either game.

No one entered in that tournament they cancelled it but it’ll be up and running for sure in the next two weeks; in fact from now on FFA is holding bi-weekly tournaments for both Garou and KOF '98: UM on a regular basis:wgrin:
Yea only me and Giby showed up and only played 2 people really but for like 4-5 games and that was it. I understand it was all last minute so I aint worried about it too much. Either way they have the setup so it’s all good to go from here on. Hopefully others try picking it up along with 98UM as well. I’ll post up the next time I’m going to FFA which might be this next Friday or Sat night. I’ll keep you guys posted if anyone wants to meet up or what not.
Oh I thought the guy that worked there said that they cancelled it? Oh well, at least you got your play in right? I need to start practicing on both Garou and KOF '98; the closest versions I have are Garou on Dreamcast and KOF '99 Dreammatch but oh well lol…
Yeah man I’m down for actually meeting up with you guys; maybe do a little carpooling too. When I was at FFA on Saturday night I left from there at 830pm and waited for the 158 metro bus…I was lucky that the bus broke down and was late on its run otherwise I would have been assed out (or would have had to call a cab lol). The bus driver told me that they make their last runs through there at 730pm…around the time the tournament starts…so if its possible to do a bit of carpooling that would be great! I got the gas money!:wgrin: I’m off on the weekends because of my new job (unless I have drill on the weekend which is only one weekend a month) so I’ll be able to frequent more.
I’ll be going to FFA this Sat at around 7-8 pm, Giby might also make it but he isn’t 100% sure yet. If anyone is planning to go I’ll see you guys there.
Whos willing to play some KOF 98 UM tomorrow at AI or FFA between 12-6pm ?
I’ll be there earlier than that since the 158 metro bus stops running around the same time you are going there; probably around 2 or 3pm is when I’ll be there then I have other plans anyway

was nice meeting Nocturnal and Master Giby tonight (though very breif). Was really fun watching you to go at it in garou too. Too bad you guys left cause and hour or two later The Answer and his crew showed up.
Next sat we will stay longer and see who shows up. Giby was there all day and I didn’t want to keep him waiting much longer through the night. Hopefully some people actually show up to the tournament but we can only wait and see who shows up.
i noticed that on Saturday, people tend to show up much later like around 10-11pm

Man I wish I was able to go…I was in Hollywood for someone’s birthday (which was lame :rolleyes:) but at least I was able to chill at my buddy’s crib and make some beats:woot:
I don’t even know when the next time I’ll be able to go to FFA; I have my annual training with my Army reserve unit next week for 2 weeks starting Saturday coming up so the next time I"ll probably be in FFA is sometime at the end of May:arazz:
