I went to AI like at 2pm today. Dp, hcb~f, and geese’s super motions are very difficult to perform in the second player. Also while I was playing, the A button from the 1st player came off ( at least 10 times ) so someone need to fix that.
For the people that go to FFA: when is a good day and time to find kof 98 UM comp? ( besides fridays and saturday nights ).
when i went there thursday night there were people playing, but the best times to go are friday and saturday nights.
and i hear ya on bad controls. The FFA sticks are pretty stiff. I had a hard time doing hcbx2 supers, but i was able to pull off Raging Storms most of the time when i wanted too (eventhough i would do the motion for RS but get Rashouman insted which would fuck me over:arazz:) I’m talking about EX Geese btw. It also feels like there is some delay when you press the buttons. Also the price to play is 50 cents. At least there has been competition there, and FFA might hold tournies bi-weekly.
Yeah I went to FFA today and played in the tournament…man I was so damn rusty from not playing since like '03 before I joined the Army. But I did warm up to the sticks a bit quickly than expected, at least on the first fight I had…then I was getting raped by the asians in the tournament. Wasnt that many folks there; everyone was a bit rusty other than the asian kats. I actually beat two folks (and when I mean I beat two folks I mean beating two fighters off of a team 
) but I need some serious practice on the sticks since I use the controller all the time anyway…but the sticks were feeling kinda stiff honestly but I’m sure after a bunch of people play on it enough they’ll loosen up.
And oh yeah…King is a freakin beast on there!:looney:

Man I dont even know. They did a double elimination thing with the tournament and after I lost the second time I bounced outta there. Probably one of the asian persuasions them dudes are beasts in that game for real. Plus I’m a newie at FFA that was my first time going I don’t really know anyone yet lol…but I do have a feeling I will be frequenting there more often now…that tournament got me wanting to get back into it again:rock:

Going to FFA for KOF is like crossing the border for ice cream.
I play to many casuals, I still get my games in with my local crew of unhappy gamers.
Man AI is way too far for me I’m way closer to FFA since its in the valley :wgrin:
Same situation for me, AI is about 2 hours without traffic away while FFA is about an hour away without traffic. That and gas prices :sad:.
Can someone say something to an AI worker to fix the A button in the 1st player of KOF 98?
Or post saying its already fixed.
