Indeed sir, I’ll see you next time I head down to Denjin. I’ll try and make it today but don’t hold me to it.

wuttt
im so there

Now we are getting somewhere!

I’ll be there today with my Litchi and Carl!!!

Someone bring a camera today so we can tape matches. Just in case I forget to bring mine hehe.

-Tha Hindu

PM me ur number dammit!!!

Instead of buying brand new sanwa sticks (since they are $$$) you can just replace the switches and buy one of these

No you don’t understand. The machine has American sticks and buttons on it right now. I need to get some Japanese parts to put into the machine so we don’t kill ourselves. Playing on the setup we have there.

-Tha Hindu

O I see, i must’ve skimmed your post.

But yeah thatll be a hassle, GL with that. Lemme know if you need help

Damnit!!

The 2nd player joystick crapped out on us Sat. night, it no longer recognizes down anymore, well the stick was already giving problems to begin with that night!

I’m holding off using Carl until the full version comes out, his moves does crappy damage in the Test Version.

while you are there you can enjoy some tekken 4 in a sit-down plane game cabinet

and some kof “10th anniversary edition”

Yeah, I came right after they gave out. They wouldn’t fix it though unfortunately because the person in charge didn’t know how to fix the buttons or anything. My friend works there and said that he could have me fix it or I could tell him what to replace etc and he’d do it but they still wouldn’t let him. Anyway, it’s getting fixed tomorrow. I believe Carl is the same in the final version as well. Yeah, his super takes off like half the damage that any other super would do from another char.

I feel like such a fucking gimp not being able to open up the machine and help fix the sticks cause of lame-ass company policy.
And I fucking hate the old dude that I have to work with since he’s fucking bossy as hell.

Yeah man, that sucks. Oh well, at least it’s fixed today. Also, get on your managers ass about getting some fuckin Japanese sticks like you have in the Tekken machine. When no ones around I’ll quickly swap em out :bgrin:.

On another note, I noticed something in Blazblue the other day and wanted to see if anyone else experienced this as well. Of course you get a set amount of tension for any type of move you do. Well, I threw the opponent and got like 14 or 15 tension which was all good but later on in the round I was up by a lot and threw the char only to receive like 9 tension. The next match against Tager I was behind by a good amount and when I threw him I got 20 tension!!! So it seems like your position in the game actually rates the tension you receive from doing attacks against the opponent. I did not try this out with combos though. Oh, also, if you throw a char mid combo you get like 3 or 6 tension. Nothing big hehe. Hope to see you guys there again soon.

60 sec matches…no wonder winning by time became a factor. I didn’t notice that the amount of tension you gain varies, but I was sad you don’t get any for running. Not sure when i’ll be going again, possibly saturday. lol@ the thread title, had no idea the lady could fight. Pfft, she’s Tina Faye in disguise again.

Also, there’s something that gives your char 1 tension every second. Not sure what this relies on but it comes to help. I’m pretty sure that it does not matter if you are in Standard Mode or Damage Mode.

Also, I’ll be taking over 2 more char move list cards to the arcade to put them on the control panel. It’s for Tao and Rachel. Sorry, don’t have any for Carl, Litchi, Arakune, or Bang. Anyway, hope to see you guys there soon.

Hey guys, got some great news. This weekend at Denjin we will most likely have another test for Blazblue final version!!! This is most likely going to be in a setup with a viewlix cab. If not it will be plugged into an HDTV. Of course it will be set on free play. This all depends on if they get a board for the test version by this weekend. I will keep you all posted. It will be there on Saturday, November 1st. Spread the word!!! Hope to see you all there.

Okay guys, I learned of some stuff in the now and upcoming world of BB.

First off, the version at Puente Hills Tilt is v0.9. The version right before the final version. There are very very minimal things changed in the final version.

Secondly, the final version has some special move commands changed!!! The special move commands that have been changed have not been listed yet.

There should be around 100 Blazblue boards on or near the day of launch in America alone!!! :wow: Most of the boards are going to be going to Tilt arcades. They want to see right now what the best setup for the game is. Please go to Tilt any time of the day in Puente Hills and play the BB game to support it. Tell the manager and email corporate telling them you want Japanese Sanwa parts for the BB setup in the Tilts and also viewlix cabs for them. Tilt is projected to be buying around 50 boards.

If you want a BB machine at your local Tilt contact corporate and let them know. They seem to only be in it for the money and know nothing of how the fighting game community (let alone fighting games) act or want. The amount of money that the machines produce gives them their overall understanding if they should invest more into the game or not. Anyway, hope to see you guys later in the week and remember about the BB gathering this Saturday over at Denjin Arcade, they should be bringing BB paraphernalia for purchase, such as: char plushies, wall scrolls, shirts, posters, etc. Hopefully they can make it. If you cannot make it to that just go to Puente Hills and get your fill :bgrin:.

P.S.: Found out that Arakune can do 90% - 95% damage with one combo but needs 100 tension.

Damn, when i build up tension i usually just masterbate
