Are all Tilt locations getting BB? There are roughly 20 Tilt locations in California. It’d be really convenient if Laguna Hills Tilt got it since that’s close to a lot of people (myself included).
15 in CA to be exact.
There are roughly 100 Tilts in existence all over the US. They want boards for half or a little over half of them. Dude, go down to Puente Hills Tilt, it’s not that far from Laguna. I’ll see you later this week there.
BTW, if Tilt does decide to get BB you can most likely count on it going to Laguna. I know the district manager of Tilt that covers the area from when I was a kid and attended Tilt like 8 or 9 years ago. He’ll make it happen just because since he’s the dm whatever he says pretty much goes and he knows that a lot of people are talking/ asking about the game.

To reiterate, please let the home office and the Puente Hills manager know how you want the BlazBlue cabinets setup and everything as the amount of influence that I have regarding what Tilt as a whole does with BlazBlue is extremely limited.
And as Tushar has just explained, Tilt is in it for the money, they have shit close to no clue as to how the fighting game community works. I wish I were higher up in the corporate food chain to help with things and fill them in, but reality is reality, I’m just the typical store attendant.
On a different note, I have already left several notes for the manager (Michelle) and the assistant manager (Brian) about the sanwa sticks and buttons and the official japanese cabinets.

Okay guys got some big updates for you.
First off, the next location in America to get BB has been revealed. Congratulations NY, your close by Dave N Busters will be getting the first ever “Final Version” of the game!!! I say “Final Version” because even though it has the final tweaks for the game it still lacks char endings and boss battles. The scheduled date for you guys to see this is around 2 weeks or sooner. Don’t worry, I will post up the address so you know exactly where to go. If all goes well Dave N Busters will be buying the games in bulk for many of their locations. If you guys could provide pictures as well for us all to see your setup that would be awesome.
Don’t be discouraged though SoCal, I wouldn’t let this news bum you guys out. I’m trying to get us a “Final Version” of the board swapped out with the board at the Puente Hills Tilt so we can be on the same calibur. Like I have said though, feel free to practice on the one that is already at Tilt. There are very minimal changes.
Finally, it is said that another well known arcade chain might be getting their mitts on a “Final Version” of the board. That is right, Game Works will be getting a machine as well. The specific Game Works it will be going to is undisclosed for now but I am thinking that it will most likely be the one in Vegas on the strip. Hey if it is then I have somewhere to actually go play a game when I got visit my dad.
It has also come to my attention that there is a new Tilt that has opened in San Diego, CA. If Tilt does purchase BB there is a very very good chance that it will be coming to the Tilt out there. Since it is a new Tilt they are bringing in all the new games and games that make good money into that arcade. You guys just got T6 when no other Tilt (to my knowledge) did. Congrats for being one of the few locations to actually have it and congrats on a future BB machine at your local Tilt arcade.
Congrats to the people that live in a close radius to these test locations or other hopeful future locations of Tilt, DnB, and GW locations to get the game. Wow, this puts the projected amount of BB boards in the US at around 200 :wow:. This is gonna be simply amazing.

Okay, to start off today’s post I have a little bit of info. I believe Golfland off the 60 fwy is getting the BB board. I could be wrong though. I know that a Golfland is getting it but not sure which. That seems to be the only one “close” by so that’s my assumption.
I have compiled a list of complaints as well for Aksys to take to Tilt when they have their meeting about the board and how well it is doing. The things listed so far are:
- Needs Japanese Sticks and Buttons
- Needs Viewlix cabs
- Angled out joysticks = fail
- Have someone there at all times that can fix the sticks and buttons. On Saturday just when I arrived the stick failed just before I got there. The manager at the time did not know how to fix it and everyone left. He would not even let the other worker fix it even though he knew how to. This was 3 hrs before closing.
- Game standard needs to be 3/5 rounds, 99 seconds.
- If they are going to keep showcase cabinets get better monitors, the one they have now has lag. I’m not sure of this but I have been reading posts where people are stating this. Can anyone confirm?

Alright, I’ll post soon if the board is coming or not today. I didn’t get a call or anything last night or I may have been partying too hard to hear the phone ring :rock:. Last I heard was the boards just got let out of customs yesterday afternoon but they were going to expedite it over here to get it by the night. Hopefully they came in.
