Why don’t you just buy the game? it’s only $30, unless you can’t find it?
I actually haven’t purchased a copy for myself. I’ve been leeching off my roommate. I suppose I’ll pick up a copy at gamestop after finals.
I’ll be in San Diego around May 26. Hopefully, I can get clearance to drive to Cerritos by July. Are any of you going to Comic Con San Diego? I wonder if they’ll have Arcana over there.
I haven’t gone to SDCC in years, I prefer AX, though I’m only going for 1-2 days this year since it’s at LACC =/
I actually haven’t been to SDCC for a few years. I’m usually in summer school in NorCal at the time. I’ve actually found it pretty boring since all I end up doing is sit in a room and watch random anime episodes.
How far is LACC from Cerritos? (In terms of driving time)
Well It’s in LA, so ideally only 20 min or so but it’s LA so it’s an hour at least. Even worse there aren’t any hotels nearby the LACC anyway so it’s just not worth it to go all 4 days for me.
I’ve seen LA traffic before. I hope I never have to see it again.

well LA’s a big city and all the major suburbs are around it in socal. I guess haha.

Well last night was the first time I’ve played this game since the JP release so I’m not sure what’s different with the US release because I haven’t played that one yet. I might start playing it again if I’m up to it. I live in Irvine.
Heh, so Gasaraki’s pad is out of the question.
I hear of people meeting up at game shops (like gamestop) to play against each other. I wonder if they just happen to know the cashier of if game shops actually encourage that sort of thing. Maybe one of you guys can ask about that? It’s probably be better if we all just met up at some neutral site, especially if you’re worried about stuff get broken/messy.
We can also search for some random SoCal game club that would be willing to host our activities. It would probably take a lot of asking around.
Irvine is much closer to San Diego. I think we should just party at H-F’s place. ;p
AX actually sounds more interesting that SDCC, especially since I have no interest in most comics in general. I’ve never been to a pure anime con.
Well I woudlnt’ recommend it this year, but next year if you still remember, I’d definitely say try it. As for meeting up somewhere, I don’t even really know.
how big is your apt HF?
I’m definitely OK with people coming over to play Arcana or driving somewhere to battle. I live in Orange County, and I’m cool with showing people how to play the game if you’re not sure about how all of the mechanics work. I live in Arcadia, next to Pasadena. I’m an AHF beginner and I’ve been playing PS2 AHF with Gasaraki on weekends and White Rob has come to Kira us both from time to time. Like Gasaraki, I also play Akatsuki Blitzkampf.
AH is a pretty nice game. Anything within the LA area is fine by me.

The question we need to ask first is, where is it going to be? I’ve seen numerous gathering plans fall through simply because there was too much confusion about where to meet up (ie nobody’s place was available or nobody wanted to host). So where shall it be? 
This is one of the questions that will plague us time and time again.
