@TheCape I just did more tests, and you can’t do anything else. You have to immediately do Volcano into Beehive. Assists won’t help because they come out to slow. :frowning:

@VHSCless That’s more or less exactly the spacing that Magneto’s hard tag gives me. If you do call the assist with the first hit of Cold Shower, it should hit during one of the four and let you Stinger…Hadangeki starts up faster than Disruptor (which is what works for me), so even if it travels more slowly, I would have thought it would connect. Ryuenjin should work for sure…

Also, even if it seems really tight, you could still very possibly build a dash into the Volcano input by doing 66236+M~M. With Mags/Dante I can do a very fast two button dash xx Volcano, but if you don’t have that long, you might still be able to do the manual dash version. It would move Dante close enough to keep all of the characters in Beehive.

One other suggestion…if you can Volcano, you can probably tag Frank and do Jam Session + Snapshot. Yes, it’s likely really tight, but Frank’s hard tag recovery is veryyy slightly better than Dante’s, and Snapshot and Volcano come out at the same speed. On the other hand, that would only work if you hadn’t used Jam Session in relation to that tag (conversion/extension/whatever).

If you find yourself with 3 bars you can 100% tag Frank and THC, though, so I guess there’s that. For example, if that sj.S hard tag were happy birthday friendly, you’d be very likely to hit the 3-bar mark and tagging Frank into a THC would be a fantastic compromise between levels and killing both characters.

I doubt it’ll help because you’re probably not messing it up, but I might look at Zero a little bit to see what I can get to work since I’m really used to the Dante/Frank tag timings. Never used Zero though, so I prob won’t be of much help :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: Yeah I was able to do dash xx Volcano with the two button dash actually (so Beehive fully hit Nova), but that’s just off a really basic series, so maybe HSD wasn’t high enough to simulate the timing you’re using. Gonna look at a real Zero combo and see if I can test that.

EDIT2: Another thing that’s probably useless but kind of interesting…if you sj.MMH in Sougnemu midscreen you can actually hard tag Frank, have him connect, and continue with s.S into whatever. Kind of cool.

All assists have some startup invincibility, but the only one that has anything left on the active frames is Haggar Lariat (and it’s only a few). It’s invincibility is when it’s used as a crossover counter, which it and several other characters’ assists (Chris Combination Punch, Thor Mighty Smash, Jilly Somersault, etc) share. All crossover counters have startup invincibility (the period of the original character exiting and the new one coming in), but the ones I just mentioned, including Zero’s, also have active frame invincibility.

That’s impressive. But doesn’t Deadpool have some really finnicky hit confirms and combos (outside of the raw tag stuff, which was awesome)?

Haha love the Panty and Stocking BGM. Awesome stuff man! Was that Frank’s TAC infinite at 2:30? In terms of practicality, is it worth trying to tackle learning it?

@TakisxLove‌ the TAC infinite is pretty easy. Personally, I have a lot of trouble doing them in the corner, but the midscreen infinite has helped me out a lot… sometimes it’s just a free “Win” button, haha. I think it’s worth learning!

Shiny! just wish Skrull wasn’t so risk-based for his playstyle and building a bar was more universal on confirms; it’s what holds him back as a point character for Frank IMO.

I was mostly pointing out the Raccoon stuff for you. Some cool stuff in there. I’m sure you can adapt some Nova stuff into it.

Thought I’d make an updated video for my team, with actual combos utilizing Leveled Up Frank and company. It just hit me that the previous video had nothing but Level Up combos, ahahaha.

I want those Jam Session conversions, but EMD doesn’t let me ~_~ The jealousy is real lol.

I can’t do the full screen conversion off of Object Toss anymore because I switched to Ryuenjin. I miss it dearly ;_;

So this was kinda rushed, but I wanted to get it out before I left town (have my XBox, but not the processing power to really record/edit atm). Even so, game on :wink:

EDIT: You know you’ve been playing Frank too long when getting 775k for 1 bar off a Jam Session confirm is incredibly disappointing. You can do a little more damage there (s.LMH after the initial j.MHS) as well, but I find that it makes linking s.S after the EMD extension too dependent on how quickly you’ve done the preceeding portion of the combo. If you just do s.LS to stop the ground bounce, the rest of the combo’s suddenly free, so it’s worth the damage loss. Plus, You can just THC with Dante and kill anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Also the f.H + EMD conversion actually does more damage than that, but I was in a hurry and just took my first take and moved on. I didn’t dash far enough to get all the hits on the grounded Tools L series or the initial sj.M after the launcher, but it puts you somewhere over 1.1Mil IIRC.

Friendly reminder that you can add a st.M before the Snapshot, when you use the st.S sj.S method during Frank/Dante THC.

Good point. I got out of the habit during my brief sting with ur Snapshot L Zombie extension and never worked that back in. Thank ya sir!
