This season doesn’t look as strong as Season 9, but there are still many good dancers. Janna definitely is the top choice for the Women’s finale.

I havent been watching this show for a few years now…probably since 09’ or so…are there still alot of good legit dancers these past seasons? Is america’s best dance crew still on? I havent watched it since the season with poroetics or however its spelled. I barely watched that season too because i already knew poroetics were going to win since they seemed to be fan favorites since the very first episode.
Fik-shun is dope. The female contemporary dancers haven’t really impressed me that much though.
The last 3 seasons of SYTYCD has had exceptional talent. Last season probably had the most talented performers in a few seasons, which says a lot since the overall standards for the show are pretty high. This ain’t Dancing With The Stars.
This season has been pretty impressive so far…especially the poppers. I havent really been this impressed since season 4 which had Twitch, Joshua, and Katee. Im gonna go back and watch some of the earlier seasons that i missed.
Season 4 was the god season IMO. Honestly, I haven’t been crazy about the last few season. Jasmine H and Amy are my picks for the top 2 girls. FikShun will get the votes, plus he’s got Joshua levels of getting dances.
WS, Mariah, the white hiphop girl is who I was referencing in the lounge. Those fucking thighs.
Season 4 was indeed the benchmark for all future seasons and still my favorite. A lot of the contestant from that season became successful not only in dance, but in entertainment as well.
Season 9 had probably the most polished dancers from their specific styles though.
Mariah’s thickness is definitely attractive. It makes me wonder how she got inspired to learn Crump? Hmm… :-p
But actually the girls I like the most are Jasmine Harper and Jenna, although Mackenzie is a little cutie…
Fik-Shun is just naturally gifted and is a strong contender for the men’s side, and still my favorite. I think Jenna and Amy have the most amount versatility, Jasmine H. will probably be the judges’ fave though. We’ll see…
What did animators dance to before dubstep?
I’m all for animators and expanding the knowledge of dancers who may not have had access to professional training, but keeping Jade was a mistake IMO.

Personality plays a big part in their casting as well, and I think Nigel thought he’d make more of an impact than an emotionally benign, but skillful dancer.
That’s why the tall tapper dude barely scraped into the top 20.
She certainly has some nice ham hocks. Like I said before, it’s no accident she went into an afrocentric style like crumping.
Yeah. Fik-Shun is absolutely sick. Girls I really like Mackenzie though she got in bottom 3 first week.
Season 4 was definitely the best season. Twitch, Katee, Joshua, Comfort, Courtney G, Mark, all have danced as all-stars in follow up seasons. Chelsea H went on dancing with the stars and also came back to choreograph/judge in this season’s vegas episode.
Season 3 comes in at 2nd IMO.
It def goes 4 >3 > everything else for me too. Overall, the hotness factor seems to be pretty high this year overall. I love that the tapper who got in on a dropout is one of the top competitors this season.

I gotta say, so far I have not been 100% on board with some of the Judge’s choices to go home. I know we only get a small piece of the picture, but still, they seem odd.

animating is a style within popping. so most likely they danced to funk music like most poppers due and maybe some select elctro songs.
Oh I know, it was mostly a joke. It just seems since animator became prevalent on SYTYCD, dubstep remixes have gone crazy on this show…
its weird i never heard of animators as specific style of dancers…always knew them as poppers. like a popper who might specalize in a subsection…like the dude from lxd does the robot…the dancers on sytycd doin animating.
