I went up $10k play money last night on the 5/10 tables. ? Pretty fun. :tup: ‘Preppy’ was taken, though, so I had to be ‘zachdms’. :sad: We should get a leaderboard.

Today a few of us (Me, Jeff, Row, Kyle, Mandel) entered an online tournament on Fulltiltpoker.com There were 840 entrants. Me Jeff and Row went out fairly early but Kyle stuck aroudn to get 71st. That’s pretty impressive but what’s even more impressive is that Mandel got 2nd. Yeah, 2nd. Out of 840. The tournament lasted about five hours and I watched Mandel at every table he was at for the last three hours or so and it was easily some of the best poker I have seen in a while. It was the first time I had really gotten to see Mandel’s style for an extended period of time and I was extremely impressed. Obviously to get to a final table out of a field that big requires luck, and Mandel got it, but the main thing was is that he got people to put their chips in after he got lucky, not before. I think I only saw him suck out maybe once or twice and never on an all in. That’s good poker. Yeah it was a fake money tournament but people were still good, and still trying to win, and there were 840 of them. The funniest thing is that heads up he got the guy to go all in and he called and had q/9 suited v. pocket tens and there was q/8/5 on the board, on the turn nothing, on the river 10. Their stacks were so close that Mandel was left with like 30k. His opponent had 1.2 million.
Anyways that’s about all I have to contribute since I’m tired from stayin up late watchin. Mandel also earned a spot in a tournament coming up on the 7th of January for anyone who placed top 3 in this series of tournaments. It may not impress anyone but it really impresses me. Especially since I got to watch him play. AKON AND YOUNG JEEZYYYYY!!!
Mandel was beasting in that tourney. I actually had a dream last night (I went to sleep while there were still a bunch of people left, including mandel) that Mandel took top 3.
Its tight that it happened.
There are still hella more freeroll tourneys to get in the tourney on the 7th, and I’m gonna try to see Mandel at the main tourney!

It’s good to see my prodigy do so well in such a large tournament, that was filled with so many good players. yea it was a freeroll tournament but people were good and played pretty smart to a certain extent. But DAMN 5hrs. Man it makes me glad I was falling asleep at the keyboard, cause i don’t think I would have been able to pull an all nighter and go to work at 7 am and do my inventory.

I thought I’d post and say good shit to Jeff for also qualifying to enter the jersey tourney. He’ll be joining me as one of the 27 lucky people to win a customized jersey from fulltilt poker.
Me and Mandel are takin home a Jersey this Saturday.
And I’m sure we’ll be sporting em at most poker outings!

How did people do last house tourney? I missed this with moving in the big behemoth cab with big behemoth Jetay and peeps. 
I finished 207 out of 1000 in a tourney tonight… I kinda tilted to get out … it gets really boring after the first hour. I just don’t have the patience, I think. makes note to try a real casino soon
