I dont mind healthcare for everyone seeing as how it is too damn expensive to pay the premiums for private, but i think its stupid that abortion was the thing holding up the votes. If you are raped and pregnant, go ahead and let my taxes pay for the abortion, hell we pay for the rapist to be locked, but if max and susy forget to use any kind of protection, let their stupid asses pay for it themselves.
I gave up debating and following politics closely as the talking heads on both sides centered around the fear of politics and who could feed the most bs to the tools of each side. If you thought the healthcare debate was huge, just wait a few weeks when the immigration bill becomes the talking point.
I want health care for everyone but taxing the rich more is not right, literally hehe. My mom had business that were reamed by California taxes to the point where she almost went out of business. to think they would do it more to the hardworking people that deserve a break more than anyone is retarded. you’re not going to get healthcare for everyone or anything else that will make the actually make the country better without taxing the rich (and everyone else) more, for obvious reasons. the fact that people even think that we can have things like better schools, medicare, healthcare, etc… without raising taxes shows just how detached most americans are from reality, in large part due to the years and years of politicians promising us expensive shit without having to pay for it (via taxes).
