Oh hey, it’s been a little while since I’ve posted any new stuff here. Anyway, I recently bought a new sketchbook and I’ve done a pretty decent job filling it out so far. I’ve only done two pieces so far that are SF-related though:

Something I did for the sake of being silly. I regret shading it in, as not only does it make the pic look kinda bleh, but I also shaded it in pretty badly. An unfinished cliche’d “Anime Magical Girl” character I did. I’m debating developing her moreso by adding a small animal sidekick, a villain who looks just like her but wearing dark clothes and very timid who also has a cute animal sidekick but wearing evil clothes and a natural enemy of the hero’s sidekick(aka a Cat and a Dog or something). Oh, and a little bonus: Metal Gear Solid 4 fanart…well, unfinished MGS4 fanart. My only reference was some Famitsu magazine that didn’t have pictures of Vamp nor Raiden, so I couldn’t add them in. I finished the pic actually, I finished adding in the Beauty and the Beast Unit(though I cheated by just making them all black silhouettes). This one is of the two main characters from a yuri manga called Maka Maka. The story’s decent, but its artstyle is what attracts me, especially since they have actually realistic proportions, even a little meaty(in a good way). This picture doesn’t really do that part justice, but eh.
I don’t have a computer at my place, much less a scanner. The only time I get online is at net cafes and at my school. Funny enough, I can’t find a place like a Kinkos or w/e to scan my pics, either. Otherwise I’d show them to you guys at a much better quality.
Well first off, I’m not black, I’m Korean. Second, I can speak the language a bit, but I still have a lot to work on. I’ve been here for seven months, and at the very least I can say I’ve improved a lot since then.
well kinda went by your biography thing where you put “…black??” Also, thanks for turning me to Yatsuba! I don’t know or search for many mangas and I’m glad that I looked that up. Just finished reading the first volume and it’s hilarious. One more thing, why are you over there? I was thinking about trying to go for some Japanese classes over there and apparently a lot of people like to do that, unless your overthere for work.
