I think the lesson to be learned here is this: be suspicious of outside companies trying to run “majors” without experience.
There was SC4 nationals, there was GameUnicon, there was that Activegamers tourney, now there’s this…when are people going to learn?

Heh…I’ve read everything from the original thread leading to the post here. I must say that the true truth will be revealed at a later date. The most common sense question has yet to be asked let alone be answered. Why would Manny create an event 1 year in advance, tour the entire nation border to border to promote so publicly only to assassinate his own event? Clearly he has the money to refund everyone and is doing so as we speak. That eliminates theft as an option. This brings up another question if money isn’t his agenda and clearly fame wouldn’t be either as this will if not isn’t ruining his reputation as we speak; then what purpose is all this for? Another thing, In his original thread he apologized to the community for suggesting that he was going to move his date and then a day late resumed the date but then it was later stated that he canceled his event when he said no such thing. All of this makes me think of only one question? Why? What does he stand to gain from all of this?
Then it occurred to me that I was asking the wrong question. Why or what “He” stands to gain is not the question. Why or what does his enemies stand to gain from this, is a more logical question. When I ask that question…a couple of entities and people now come into question. The logica, reasons and most importantly motive, then become more sensible. Heh…What ever happen to the critical thinking of the general population. Heh…nothing apparently, that is why many follow while only a few lead. All will be answered in time, so I will see.
