No one is defending Capcom outside of a business perspective because that’s what they are… a BUSINESS. Plain and simple, they made a profit-savvy decision. Yup, the other dolls may have cost more money. Also, decapre is amazing. Deal. At the end of the day, please remember that Capcom needs to mind their bottom line, much in the same way we all need to mind our income and living expenses. Without a profit, we would never see a game again from capcom, so please relax and enjoy it.

LOL decapre is amazing. If thats the case why is she the most hated sf character? I really doubt using the same model as cammy and changing her to a other doll would cost anything.
The other dolls have already been designed in the series, it wouldnt be that hard
I feel like the people who complain about her being a clone didn’t actually watch her gameplay. She plays completely different from Cammy. That’s not a clone in my book. Also, pls see Evil Ryu and Oni.

It was implied that you believe Cammy being broken in SF4 had nothing to do with the Decapre hate since Juni and Juli weren’t hated. You can’t necessarily make that statement as Cammy wasn’t broken in Alpha to warrant that hate. Not saying that’s THE reason. Just that you can’t make that statement.

No. Way lazier, because they didn’t even change the hair, it’s just Cammy with a mask and a claw.
So it doesn’t cost any less, they retextured the body. They gave her the claw and retextured the face which is just as much work as it would be to only change the hair. If anything she took more work and cost than Juni or Juli would have.

What I don’t get are the people who act like Decapre being in the game is what makes them not want it. There are still 44 other characters in the game, but because of this one character suddenly it offends your sensibilities enough to warrant not purchasing it.
This would be like someone not wanting to play MvC2 because they thought Omega Red was an asshole.
