I learned the jaded bit because after several instances of companies sloughing through updates and games in general, you just learn to expect it. It’s a sign of the times really. I kind of hope the game industry crashes because at least it’ll put an end to the stupid, money-grubbing practices of a lot of publishers, or at least cause them to think twice before doing something like they’re doing.
Honestly, I have no beef with Ultra because I expected it to be what it is. If anything, having a new character and the Edition Select is MORE than I expected. So I’m good.
Still the same head. If I add a character who is Ryu but wearing a firefighter costume and a mustache, would that make him look much different to Ryu? No, it won’t. And that would be so stupid to see, a character that has basically the exact head of another.

And the head is, from a design perspective, different. The difference tends to be what’s on their face. A mask is about as different as you’re going to get. Might as well be complaining about any 2 characters. GOD why did they give all these characters HEADS? Fucking lazy.

At least Ryu and Ken have different attack animations. Decapre is practically every animation the same as Cammy, so lazy, cheap and stupid. It looks very bad.

They’re different in their unique moves and a few buttons. Decapre is probably just as different animation wise. All of her specials looks different which is already enough really. Also all of her fierces. She’s got an overhead that Cammy doesn’t. That argument doesn’t really fly.
When I was a kid the concept of the toxic spores or whatever scared the crap out of me. I remember seeing it in the comics and nopeing the fuck out. People’s skin melted off just for being near him? Eff that.
