I’d want characters that are sadly regulated to joke character status. Joke character status as in that the joke is that “they can’t get into KOF that year for ‘x’ reason.” So I want Ryuhaku Todoh because that guy has only be in 2 games as a playable character. Then there are popular characters such as Jin Fu Ha that haven’t made it in yet (Jin Fu Ha made it into the announcer’s desk in KOF12.) Then there is American Sports Team that always gets beaten up but some random team for their KOF invitations.
if anything i’d put any original kof character first like orochi team,vanessa,chang,team usa comeback,jhun,shingo,heidern,whip, kasumi etc over geese anyday.
Yamazaki is probably one of my favorite fighting game characters of all time design wise. The fact that he’s a thug who has moves where he cuts you with his knife, or stomps you repeatedly in the face in just too cool for me to not like.
I’ve liked and mained Geese in every game he’s been in that I’ve played. You also can’t deny that he is top 3 most badass FG bosses of all time.
Chizuru is really the only KOF introduced character that I like, unless you want to count Ralf, but he was already in Ikari Warriors.
Art of Fighting 1 and 2, or Art of Fighting 3? I’d like to see Lee Pai Long, and maybe John Crawley. There’s no one from AoF 3 that I’d want to see though.
Lee was super sick in NGBC, I’d love for him to be in a KoF game. That would be the one concession I would make in old man team, swap Heidern for Lee. That would be a beast old man team. Heidern can go back to Ikari Warriors team and Leona can be in some gimmick women team.
KoF’s two most popular characters are from Fatal Fury.
Also tons of underrated characters (Yamazaki, Duck, Krauser, Franco, Mary, Rick, Cheng, Bob, etc).
Like to see more AoF as well (about time OG Mr.Karate appeared in KoF). Lee is boss; needs more Mr.Big, Jack, I’d like to see more Kasumi too.
I don’t really care who they bring back as long as the game is better than it was. I loved KOFXIII but there’s still room for improvement in a lot of areas.
I mean, sure, there’s about 12 or so characters I really want to be in, and about 12 characters already in KOFXIII that I really hope return, but KOF is great in that regardless of who is playable I’ll find at least one team and I’ll love the hell out of it regardless.
You guys are honestly going to be in for a treat, talked to a guy at Evo and there is some SNK stuff coming down the pike. It isn’t my place to say anything but yeah. Just hold on abit more.
