if they came out with a new garou. wat new things can they add to it to make it better the other one? besides add old skool character’s that haven’t seen the light in snk for years.
I think they should go pseudo 2d with 3d models. A lot less pricey.

it would be cool if they made a sequal to motw and put even more characters in it n.n i would keep the same graphics though [ i think they’re great] maybe tweak them a little but keep the same sprite for terry deffinately. that one rocks XD [i kinda hate the original super redneck version of terry] >>

They didnt say MOTW2 did they? they said something based around that, which could mean a Garou Dream match, or a new Fatal Fury game with that title of some sort.
Id hate if this game turned out to be 3D.
i’m not completely against 3d games. if they made it 3d and cell shaded but still only 2d fighting style that could be cool o.o but only if it ran as smooth and pretty much fought the same as the 2d game.

Umm, I’m not too sure about this. Kim would be kinda cool in that he would have to be at least in his mid fourties (much older look), but since MOTW is a few years after RB2, that means the FF characters are older, and an older Mai is NOT a good thing for most people.
MOTW2 has so much potential, let’s just some SNKP doesn’t screw it up.

I don’t mind 3d games, but I hate it when they take a game that started out 2d, it’s bread and butter is 2d and then they make it 3d. It would be like make Virtua Fighter 2d…just doesn’t work for me. If SNK wanted to make a 3d fighting game, I’m fine with that just make it a new game all together, that’s not based on any of your current 2d fighters. I’d like to get any arcade perfect port of Garou, since I haven’t played the game AT ALL, and everyone says its kind of like 3s.
well they would have to make Mai more mature looking, more of a master of her arts rather then a sex symbol. have her wear a full kimono and kick everyones ass XD
and maybe add team battle? imagine super Kim team? Kap, Dong and Jae

Yeah, I think an older Joe, Terry, Andy, Mai, Kim, RYO, Duck, uhh…Tung Fu Ru (if he’s still alive) would be very cool.

No offense… but one of reasons I really liked Mark of the Wolves was the fact they moved on from what was Fatal Fury. Bringing back a majority of old cast would kill the sequel for me (especially since we still have KOF). Now I’m all up for new characters that have roots in old ones, and appearances by those older characters in some endings, I even think an older grittier Ryo as a mid-boss would be novel, but let’s leave it at that.
About the whole “older Ryo” thing, does his NGBC form work as one (the Mr. Karate form)? He IS the Buriki One Ryo, and that game is also set way after the previous game (like MOTW).
The whole “bring the old guys back, but older looking” seems very Tekken-like to me. I mean, seriously. You’d think Lee, Bruce, Baek, etc. were all dead in Tekken 3, but they all come back in Tekken 5 (I know, Lee was in T4, but most people returned in T5) older, tougher, and a bit cooler than ever.
They’ll just have to do a Garou dream match at some point for the people who want to see old people back. (I’d be much more interested in their designs then actually seeing them back as playable.)
I think I’m the only one who wouldn’t mind a Cool Cool Toon 2.

Well the only dead FF char is Geese, and that’s always iffy. So bringing back some old characters is a good thing.
Ryo and Yamazaki are the two most likely I think.
