I wonder if he will have his multiple DT forms?
Like his Rebellion DT, Beowulf DT, Cerberus DT, etc.

I’m wondering if he can use Vortex to extend his air-combos while in DT form. Looks like it.

Although I didn’t think they’d have the DMC3 devil model so yeah…

Just the one DT by the looks of it, and only with Nevan’s bonus moves. Although that does mean they cover almost everything in DMC3, just missing quicksilver, doppleganger, and the spiral gun.

Yea I had a similar idea, having a good battery on the team and simply playing dante in DT form for most of the game. But on a slightly unrelated note, how useful would you say flight modes are, as far as i know you can’t block while flying so wont that be too much of a disadvantage to make it worth it? The only flight mode i noticed being consistently used in mvc 2 was sentinels and that was cause his was broken.

Where there any differences in DMC3? I thought the only effect the weapon had was Nevan letting you use Air Raid, etc. Back on topic, why haven’t people been messing with DT mode anymore? It heals and gives a pretty decent speed boost, right?

I guess cause most of the clips we have seen were from tourneys, and most people don’t know enough of DT to be busting it out at tournaments. Plus the pistol super is just a hell of a lot easier to use so people stick to that.

im pretty sure Dante’s DT Vortex move will have very good chipping properties as it did in DMC3 and DMC1 when used it against Blob Mundus at the very end of the game; it did hella damage real quickly. Maybe on league with Psycho Crusher type chipping as with XvSF Bison’s even though it was a super.

How is DT wasting meter?

In that video where Keits was showing most of Dante’s moves, you can’t teleport fast enough after Hysteric, but do y’all think you can after Artemis?

Also, is there a video anywhere of Dante’s DT moves? I have some ideas… :smiley:

I’m pretty sure you can delay the SC imputs. Also, you should be able to lay down some orbs with Artemis, then teleport in to add to the pressure.

doesnt Artemis release after you release the button if you try to hold it? (the orbs I mean)

Is Dante’s air normals jump cancel-able? I wonder if he can do some Chun-Li style extended air combos.

They are. Don’t see many people jump canceling, though. Can’t blame em. In a game with so many characterd who can’t double jump, I’d forget about Dante’s from time to time.

Hot damn! Dante’s certainly gonna be a crowd pleasing flashy character. Can’t wait to try more combos than Marn’s Killer Bee relaunch.
