still use mh airplay much easier and consistent
volcano mh airplay h doesnt connect consistently off hammer.
I just go for :h: killer bee, its really easy and consistent.
he is doing shot loops, definitely the most consistent I can’t believe you’d disagree the only problem is you need to do second :h: slightly later but its the same as corner timing for neutral jump :h: airplay :h: so it gets beyond easy.
Again shot loops and why settle for lower damage, especially since airplays are so easy and can lead to immense damage with the right assists.

if you knew anything about dante or this game, you would realize that if you delay the volcano after j.s or hammer the combo will drop. if you delay the h too much, it wont connect. if you dont delay it enough, your S wont connect. in a real match situation this just isnt practical considering you never know when its gonna connect. you’d think that after nini (aka the most overhyped combo video maker on srk, but i still got love) made a video about it people would realize the best hammer follow up is j.h airplay j.h s.h cr.h… only issue with it being that it doesnt work on super heavy character with fat hitboxes.

I don’t drop the :h: air play ever, but I guess thats just because I practice my combos.

what the fuck does practicing combos have to do with hitstun timer and hitconfirming in a real match environment?

This, and if you do j.s > Hammer/Air Play and then land and then OTG with Volcano, the hitstun timer has already gone too far and you NEED to use j.m > j.h > Killer Bee (Which still does great damage anyway, especially if you have an assist like Vajra or Drones that will let you stick a Million Carats in after the wall bounce).
Also, if you hit someone with a j.s/Hammer at super jump height, the time it takes for them to hit the ground uses to much of the HSD timer and you have to use Cold Shower > Propshredder . etc. This is also why getting Volcano > j.mh > Killer Bee off of a Vajra hard knockdown is so finicky, they have to be low to the ground and you need to otg them with volcano asap.
Besides, if you have Vergil second (which, I mean, you kind of should) then doing Prop Shredder > Acid Rain and building as much meter as possible is FAR more important.
If they tech before the Killer Bee in j.s Volcano > j.mh > Killer Bee it means j.S (or hammer) was hitting too high?
Means you’re not doing the combo fast enough.
I can’t get S-H-f+H (the guns into lvl 2 stinger) out consistently. Either it whiffs or I keep firing bullets. How many shots in the air am I supposed to do?
Also, any advice on Dante’s neutral game? I’m putting Dante on anchor so ideally assistless (unless spencer’s slant shot has any uses). Teleport is too predictable and I can’t seem to get many options full screen except to either wave dash forward, teleport(as i mentioned) or zone with projectiles.

I’ve started playing dante, and for the most part I’m having a lot of fun, but with one big problem. I can’t, for the life of me, seem to approach with dante at all. My team is Dante (Jam Session)/Doom (Hidden Missiles)/Vergil (Rapid Slash). I just can’t seem to get in with Dante, and I feel really sluggish with my normals, as I’m constantly getting punished all the time. Any advice guys? Thanks.

Don’t know if anyone knew this, but if you wait a tad bit after prop shredder, you can hit your opponent with the very top of volcano’s hit box, it can make for some pretty fancy combos while calling Doom missiles or Vajra assist.

No, there isn’t much you can do with it without an assist, like I mentioned before It’s more just to swag out, Don’t think you can do anything really useful with it.
