You quoted him unless you were using him as an example to prove what ever point you were trying to make. It does look like you were talking to him.
How do you figure that? People with social anxieties often have reasons. Sometimes it really isn’t their fault. It is sometimes but it could be a result of their parents, siblings or where they grew up. I’d say it’s about 50/50.
I really think all it is, is that those guys just work too hard. It’s the same thing in Korea. It’s weird, in Korea, women just don’t want to have babies.
That’s a trend in many societies where if Women are incredibly educated and have many opportunities, they are more likely to not have children. We have European nations like Germany dying because of this.
Making a direct relationship between eugenics as a practice and negative population growth is far fetched. Many other factors come into play. Immigration, geographical location, median age, male/female ratio, infrastructure, just to name a few. And we wouldn’t notice anything in the short term anyway. It would take generations (providing this negative growth is sustained) before it has an impact. Germany isn’t dying, lol.
The fact that population is shrinking is a good thing imo. Negative population growth reduces the strain on resources. And people still having sex so it’s all good. Or we could follow the lead of some African countries where the population growth explodes due to lack of contraceptives or sex education, I’m sure that would work out fine
But the world is not over populated. According to some studies, it can handle up to 50 billion people comfortably given that humans use resources properly.
Man, it’s going to take me long to find it. Just keep in mind that we already have a humongous amount of living space on Earth and we already have free energy technology that is one hundred percent clean like the car powered by water.
The world’s plenty overpopulated in certain places. Africa being a case in point where there aren’t enough resources to sustain the population growth. Africa and Japan are two opposite ends of the pole and neither is a good place to be.
Source or no, “given that humans use resources properly” is laughable. We got jackasses mass breeding with no fucks given. While I believe humanity can actually use resources properly, I doubt they will ever in enough of a large group worldwide actually give a shit to do so. I mean how many people actually have their lights OFF in broad daylight? People would have to lose what they have taken for granted.
Considering humans take great strides in order to not use resources properly, no i don’t think we are capable of it at all, least not as a species. As individuals sure, but as a whole? Fuuuuuck no.
Do you know anything of J. Howard Marshall II? The guy was ruthlessly ambitious and wildly successful. He may have had billions, but that doesn’t mean he had no confidence behind it. The guy was a business juggernaut.
