I didn’t get Hyrule Warriors Ganon like I wanted, but I’m good with OOT Ganon again. His moves look safer; f-air and down B appear to have less end lag. His u-tilt appears to be back to Melee version, so I hope he also gets the jab. All of his Smashes were replaced, but I’m going to miss his u-smash. That move was godlike. According to Hbox, Ganon’s uair is amazing, but it was always amazing. Not sure what’s better about it now.
Cloud can’t keep a full limit charge any more, which is actually a good thing. Didn’t seem fair that he could hold on to it forever while Little Mac lost his KO punch over time.
If you haven’t watched the short fighter vids on the website, I would do it. You learn all sorts of changes made to the characters.
everytime they announce a new smash brothers i get super excited because of my competitive side loves a new game i can be competitive at. but then i buy smash and realize how much i hate smash as a game. its a never ending cycle that will continue with super smash bros ultimate.

Personally, I wish the Echo Fighters had just been relegated to alt costumes, and that Pichu, Dr. Mario and Young Link were also Echo Fighters.
The only character I wish hadn’t returned at all was Pokemon Trainer. He really undermines Charizard. If they HAD to bring him back, I wish they’d left Charizard as a solo character and just gave Trainer a Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander.
That said, glad Snake, Wolf and Ice Climbers are back. Inklings and Ridley are great additions.
Anyway, there was a popular leak recently that said Ice Climbers, Ridley and Simon Belmont were getting added. And with Ridley being confirmed, and Konami clearly being back in with Snake and Bomberman, I’m really hoping the Simon thing is also true. He’s my #1 character pick.

-Going offscreen causes a small screen to appear in top left showing where the character is and how far away he/she/it is from the blast zone
-Launching someone a long distance has been shortened. Now they launch much farther much faster and stop traveling much more abruptly

Stream today confirmed that throw teching is in fact in. They couldn’t demonstrate it on stream but they said it happened in the tournament last night.
I went back in the stream today to see where they said the throw tech was specifically. They said it happened in the last match between Zero and MKLeo. I’m gonna have to rewatch it to try to time stamp it.
So it looks like it actually happens in Grand Finals if I’m not mistaken in the Sonic vs Mario match at about 7:26:20. Mario and Sonic both dash to each other and do grabs and it they kind of break off each other
Also looks like it happens again around 7:27:07
And again @ about 7:27:36 They look like clashes.
