SNKP did some of this stuff with KOF12, but the proper HD resolution sprites of SkullGirls is awesome. I really want to see this game finish, hopefully they find a founder soon!

I’m gonna push this game in the UK so hard when it comes out.
I reckon you should get Microsoft to fund it, they’ll make it exclusive and probably make you charge for DLC, but that’s a non-issue.

Would rather have it on PC than 360 only. Then maybe someone might find it interesting enough to pay for a TypeX2 port and bring it out to arcades.
Only if it’s on Steam as I wouldn’t want this game to be pirated. Too be honest, Street Fighter proved that an arcade release isn’t necessary.
I personally feel that despite Microsoft’s faults they could market the game well.
They proved it with 'Splosion Man and The Dishwasher.

I think Sony does a better job than MS in pulling original work and helping out developers with fresh ideas for a DLC game. But I would love to see this game in disc base form in the end.

I’d really hope that people wouldn’t pirate a game like this. Pirating indie games, when the companies are already struggling, makes me sick.
Yeah, that’s why I want it either on Steam or XBLA. PSN can have games shared up to 5 times (it happened loads with Tekken 5 DR) and normal PC releases like Melty Blood and Akatsuki are notorious for being pirated.
I really want this game to do well. As long has some has some really interesting mechanics besides air combos I think it will. They just have to make sure every character is idiosyncratic and interesting.
Basic ideas for some of the character’s moves based on their artwork.
Peacock:
-(Projectile move) Lifts up her skirt and one of those little bombs runs out towards the wall.
Explodes upon hitting your opponent or hitting the wall and has three speeds depending on the strentgh of the attack (walking, jogging and running).
-(Uppercut/Anti-Air) Hat opens up and the little rat inside throws a knife up and towards the opponent.
The LP version is a small kitchen knife which has good horizontal range, MP version is a meat cleaver with horiztonal and vertical range (like whe Faust throws items) and the HP is a fire axe which is thrown pretty much straight upwards. All of these moves hit once.
-(Command throw) Hit throw that can only be done in the air. Peacock grabs the opponent and use the thrusters in her feet to do a really cartoony Izuna drop style move. It would be mostly used as an ender.
-(Super) 5 running bombs would jump out at run towards the wall. If supers are done with a single button in this game, the LK version would drop the walking bombs at a slower speed (for pressure), MK would drop the jogging a little faster (for zoning) and the HK version would have the running bombs come out really quickly so they can be combo’d into on the ground.
Stuff like that basically.
Obviously, they’ll probably make much better ideas than that, though.
