yea hes a weirdo and not only when it comes to posting about this game
Any chance for a PC release via Steam or something? Online is a big factor in this title and it tends to work a lot better on PC than on consoles.
Looking into it, but I don’t think you need to worry about online. We’re using GGPO, and the code would be the same for PC, PS3 and 360, so they should all more or less perform identically. We also have concerns about splitting the online community too many ways.
Naturally, we’re also worried about piracy.
Wow, she wrote the music for SOTN? Awesome stuff there man! I’m excited for this new fighter.
That’s the thing- They DON’T where I live.(for me and for all the local players) The same games on PC perform a lot better than on consoles (BBCT,SF4 etc.)
I hope GGPO will be an exception…
My initial two reactions just flip flopped.
venus is singlehandedly one of the illest concepts i’ve seen in a loooooooooooong time. she’s gotta get in.
because he is a fucking idiot
Downgraded? That doesn’t sound so good.
I have plenty of time for both.
- American-made fighting game with an emphasis on drawing in all sorts of players with lowered execution barriers
- Awesome visuals
- The fuckin’ Symphony of the Night composer is doing the music
- GGPO fuckin’ netcode
- All girl cast (I like gender variety in my fighters)
- While I dig the aesthetics (minus the all-girl-ness), I can see how people would be turned off by it, and that might hurt it…
Still, very hype.
yo i want the game to let you play music out of the ps3 menu i dont know how hard it is but how come mvc2, t6, and sf4 are the only fighting games on ps3 that let you do this shit for real i wanna listen to my own shit
this shit guarantees a game will go on the main tv at our friday gathering where there is people just drinking instead of playing instead the game of being forced into a back room with guilty gear and arcana heart
Hyped as all get out for this game.
You could get it for 360 if that’s the concern.
our 360 redringed and its not back yet and it doesnt seem like something that would be hard to implement
I would imagine it would be back before this game releases…?
Well, let’s face it: Skullgirls likely wasn’t going to break into the mainstream any more than the likes of Vampire Savior, Arcana Heart or Melty Blood. So they might as well go for something stylish that stands out. And like with those aforementioned games, hopefully some people will be turned into believers if they would be willing to come to the table with an open mind.
I was already keeping this game on notice ever since it seemed like it was going to be more along the lines of something that was going to try something unto itself. Now with GGPO and Yamane, it’s all the more reason to buy in.
one of my dream features for a fighting game is to be able to pick the music for each stage, character select, menu, etc off your hard drive cause custom mvc2 discs own
I’m interested in this game, but they really should get some people who know how to market. Their first trailer sucked ass and they’ve taken way too long to show off a third character, especially since the first two characters they revealed are so similar to each other macroscopically.
I might have to forgo this game if they’ve changed their minds about a PC release though.
You have to admire his passion.
Dude! Vampire has babes, vampires, werewolves, demons, and blood. Shit would sell like hotcakes if they got a good art director and marketed it.
in the 90’s perhaps, now that kind of roster would be seem as something silly and childish at best
