Art of Fighting series.
Ah, okay. Never played that series; I’ll look some videos up.
Youre thinking of Iggy (dog) and Pet Shop (bird). I’ve only read about and watched JoJo’s and heard stuff from a friend, but Pet Shop is the tippy-top of the tier list. Iggy’s supposed to be good, too.
I’ll save you a little time:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1EH5ej4kjc (all supers + hidden supers in Art of Fighting 2, including the first Deadly Rave for Geese Howard. Only vid I could find with all of them together… hope you don’t mind this guys cursor all over the place)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7RUz-GrQ9A Art of Fighting 3. (may want to skip ahead I bit in the Karman-Cole v Lenny-Creston showing. He wastes a little time there)
Petshop is quite broke but its a really great game without petshop.
Please no freaking huge faces in the background or super flashes or anything.
Change the background to B&W maybe but that’s it. There isn’t a god damn super in any game that’s come out in the past five years that even compares to Peacock’s level three anyway. Not even close.
:3
Fuck you, epic super flashes like in 3S are awesome.
Now, now. Let’s not get into a huge debate over something that is completely opinion based. SG will do what SG does when it comes to the flashiness of the supers.
Damn right, all y’all will never agree anyway. :^)
Surprised mike z is using super freeze.
Mike Z leading us to the promise land of fighting games!
Soon all games will have a good button config, hold start to pause, panty shots, and oceans of love and care poured into it.
Various opinions on the audio/visual effects in the game are probably very useful for the developers!
I personally like how the characters have a large amount of dialogue but don’t necessarily say their lines every time they do the appropriate move. This lets the characters have a lot of voice acting but not completely flood normal gameplay with constant interrupting half-lines and gibberish. The #1 worst aspect of Blaz Blue for me is when you get someone like Rachel, who has multiple voices constantly going off, vs Hakumen, who has pretty harsh snarls with suit of armor echo/distortion effect, talking over the hit sounds, hype dogs, and BGMs that may or may not have lyrics. If Bang is ever involved the game is just 100% white noise. A little moderation would make it way easier on your ears and it looks like Skullgirls is going in that direction.
reactions on ign message boards were depressing. Seems like the word hasn’t spread to the larger gaming community quite yet. Just gotta keep spreading the word that this game is destined for awesomeness.
Problem is people don’t like fighting games still, and the ones they do like have manly men and 3d graphics. I can’t believe how many times I’ve seen the “looks like a flash game” comment, so the current videos that are out are obviously not doing it justice cause having seen it in person that statement is completely retarded.
Also when will the website be updated with parasoul?
that’s what my friend says about the game
cool vid.
Is there a reason why this game isn’t going to be available for the Wii also ?
The easy answer to that is the Wii can’t handle the graphics.
Yes, really. :^)
The slightly more complicated answer is that according to businessmen, “nobody” plays the Wii for fighting games.
Speaking of characters who may or may not be based off of other characters, Parasoul’s much-admired bikini picture is obviously a nod to Ursula Andress/Honey Ryder. How much of the character herself is based off of 60’s spy movie tropes?
No they’re not, and you’re stupid and smell like a butt.
