Doesn’t the obvious contradiction make it obvio… oh wait, I’m on shoryuken. There’s people here who seriously hold that belief. My bad.
Arcana Heart is a game that is said to be good by the FGC yet has trouble getting players due to the dislike of the loli style that the game has. I used that game to point out how some folk on shoryuken are all “only gameplay matters” yet refuse to play AH because of non-gameplay related issues.
On topic, it’s nice to finally here something about the story of the game. I was beginning to think Alex put millia hair demons and fire tear launching demonic umbrellas in the game for the sheer fuck of it.

For the record, I hear talk that Filia’s design was created before Guilty Gear, actually I think Mike Z was the one who mentioned it.
I am all about playing a game for the mechanics, and I really didn’t like AH3. I’ve tried to play the Arcana series since the first one. Giant blob girl grappler with an air 720? SOLD!
I’ve given it a many hours of play time across all three games because of the interesting higher-level choices due to the Arcana system, plus the characters have an incredible number of options, but the entire series just feels…weird. The floaty jumps and other air mechanics, and the odd-feeling hitstun and pushback definitely aren’t for me.
My point is, don’t assume someone is dislikes AH3 because of “teh loli”.

And I’m hoping the crew makes it to Season’s Beatings. There’s a very strong chance I’ll be headed that way this year, and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the game for the first time since playing it on Mike’s computer at EVO last year.

I’d rather avoid TVTropes personally. For every bit of cool info are 10 instances where its contributors demonstrate monstrous stupidity.
The only other person I’ve ever seen say something like that is Lord Knight.
I really doubt that if anybody had such a well though out reason for not liking arcana, they would just state their reason instead of spewing childish words.
Plenty of people have voiced valid discontent with Arcana Heart.
word on that, i like the game, and has some stuff that i find interesting, but there are also a lot of things that certainly feel off when i play it that make me want to play other things instead, 
So I’m testing out my new printer, and I decide to print whatever’s on the desktop, and one thing leads to another and I take half an hour to do this to my computer

In the 2nd video, it wasn’t shown, but you can select any move in the command list and the game will tell you the best combo you can do that includes the move. It also tells you if the move is a launcher or not.

Welp, we had that Psychic Force talk and then they up and put Emilio Michaelov into Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. YOUR MOVE, MIKE
So I just got invited to go to a tournament in the south that should have about 300 people. Is there anything I can do to help promote Skullgirls? It’s gotten exposure on the east and west coast, but absolutely NOTHING in the South, which is surprising because Memphis had some really strong GG players.
Really, it’s next month. Is there ANYTHING I can do?
yeah i was hoping for something at final round but i also can’t expect too much. the south has had some strong mvc2 players (raekwon187, skitz, 50morecentz, mixup), strong gg players (raekwon187 again, ssj george bush aka dickslicer), strong bb players (ex. ivysaur who has usually placed higher than more known players like lordknight whenever they’ve met in the same tournament), some strong melty and arcana players too i believe.
