Skullgirls' Trophies and Achievements

As Parasoul, hit someone with Napalm Pillar after they jump over your Napalm Shot( or Bike Soldier). “Old School/Skool/Skull”

Do <a number> combos of at least <a number> hits starting from cross-ups. “Dance Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Freight Train”

Use Peacock’s fat ass bomb super during a combo, in a way that the victim is held down and can’t escape the explosion. “Sticky Bomb”

Pick a Main Already! - Play as every possible combination of 1, 2, and 3 characters in the original cast
Dedicated Assist Character - With one character, use every possible custom asist
I Liked the Old Art Better - As Ms. Fortune costume 2, beat a player playing Ms. Fortune costume 1
Go Home Potemkin! - Cause Cerebella to miss 5 Showstoppers.
Zombie Hunting 101 - KO Squiggly with Peacock’s QCF HP
Don’t Give Up! - Lose to someone five or more times and then win

“Joke inside of you” lol

I’d just like to reiterate that I’m completely against any kind of achievement that involves long and senseless grinding that does not offer any benefit outside the achievement.

I’m completely against any kind of achievement along the lines of winning 100 mirror matches, playing 50 matches against an opponent in one sitting (who seriously wants to do that?), choosing each palette for each character, 100 taunts with one character, or especially summoning the damn steamroller. The best achievements are ones you’ll either get playing the game naturally, by doing something wacky or fun (perfect example: most of the blazblue character-specific achievements), or something actually monumental that proves you have a specific skillset (like beating the game on a specific difficulty or without continues). Anything that involves a pointless grind is just counter-intuitive. Achievements are supposed to be fun bonus, a way to reward loyal players, or a nice way to extend gameplay. They should never be something a fan of the game wouldn’t want to do. Think about it – what dev actually willingly puts something in a game that they think someone would not want to do? Who would actually want something not intended to be enjoyable in their game? #_o

(PS: It’s also counterproductive to earnestly hope your achievement that directly mentions [x trademarked character/brand/game] will get chosen. It won’t happen. Don’t even suggest it.]

That one’s really funny. I like it a lot.

Bumbershoot: As Parasoul, use her tears X amount of times during a match (gets people using her tears) OR use her level 3 to finish a combo of at least X number of hits (to teach about how the level 3 scales its damage).

Throwing Pains: As Cerebella, utilize all of her command grabs during a match OR win using her grab super. (teach people to use her command grabs)

Ms. Management: As Ms. Fortune, perform a combo with at least 5 hits coming from her head. (teach how to use her head)

Steamboat Bully: As Peacock, hit the opponent with X amount of projectiles during a match (hit or block) (teach how to zone as projectiles must make contact with opponent)

Powlicked!: As Filia, make contact with 3 overheads, 3 low attacks, and an assist attack within X seconds. (teaches how to rushdown/maintain pressure).

Size Matters: Use a team consisting of 1, 2, and 3 characters.

May I Take Your Order?: Assign a custom assist.

also, it would be nice if any online trophies were just basic. use every character online or play an online game is fine. stuff like join a full size lobby, winstreaks, or play an obscene amount of matches online are just frustrating and feel more like a chore to do for the average player.

^Filia doesn’t have any overheads… >_>

overheads as in jump-in attacks and stuff. the assist can also count as an overhead.

Oh. I usually just call those jump-in attacks. >_>

Whatever. You’re right.

I really think if theres an achievement for killing someone with Peacock’s level 3, it should be named " Have a Cigar"

lol well those are all pretty common phrases. but great minds think alike i guess.

Boom Headshot! - Hit a detached Ms. Fortune head with any of Peacock’s gun specials or Parasoul’s #13.
Out for Launch - Do a combo with two seperate launchers and two seperate air combo sections.
It’s 8999… - Win a match where you gain five meter but never use any of it
Didn’t see that coming - Hit with a super within the first second of the match
I’m Super Thanks For Asking - Hit with a combo that uses five level 1 supers
Waste Not Want Not - Win a match without ever getting to 2 stocks of meter
Big Spender - Do a combo with two level 3 supers
Wrong Way - DHC from a lvl 3 to a lvl 1 and win the match without ever getting back to 3 meters
The Cerebella Ninja - Cross an opponent up with Cerebella’s Kancho without the Kancho actually activating
The Clinical Definition of Insanity - Soak up five super armor hits on one move
Well Rounded - Use every move in a character’s arsenal in one match
Well Rounded… if you know what I mean - See all the panty shots that there are to see in the game
Oiled Up - Tech three throws in a row
Heads Will Roll - Land a combo with a Ms. Fortune head roll in the middle
Like a Chicken With It’s Head Cut Off - Win a match with Ms. Fortune without ever landing a move with your head on
If It Weren’t Stapled To My Neck - win a match with Ms. Fortune without ever being detached from your head
Om Nom Nom - Land Ms. Fortune’s headless command throw hit twice in a row
Don’t you know who I am? - Counter hit an opponent after soaking up a hit during ceebella’s command run three times in one match
I’m the Juggernaut B*tch! - Kill an opponent after soaking up a hit during Cerebella’s command run three times in one match
Urichinan - Perform seven totally different non-infinite parasoul combos in one match

I don’t like ones that include online play. Always too much pressure:/

I’m going to say it now: Receiving trophy/achievement for just purchasing DLC is fuckin’ stupid.

Hearts on Fire - Spend over 20 Hours total in Training Mode, making use of all its useful features at least once.

I also think there should be one for training mode that’s more than just a set number of hours, even if it’s 100 hours, the casual player is gonna just leave their playstation on to get the hours when they are out of the house.

Expansion Jackson - Beat Arcade mode with a DLC character

Chubby Chaser - Dash 500 times with Filia XD.
BROHEMIAN - Win a match with 3 male characters.
Go meet some real women - clock 20+ hours of game time

Thinking Outside the Box - Use Cerebella’s Command Run Cancel in a combo
New Technology - Trigger the infinite protection system without ever launching an opponent
You Ungrateful Little… - Get ragequit on while fighting a DLC character with a member of the main cast
Glad This Round Meant Something - Get a double KO
Cheeeeeap - Kill someone with a repeated string of light punches or kicks
Unbeastly - Whiff a move with start up invulnerability and die because of the punish
More Time Designing Than Playing - Spend 10 hours in training mode
Find Some Friends! - Play single-player for 10 hours
Go To a Tourney Already! - Be one of the top ten players of a character in online ranked matches
I Miss The Arcades - Play online mode for 10 hours
Can’t Run Forever - Fail to land a hit for twenty seconds and then win with your next attack
Should Have Pressed A Button - Fail to land a hit for twenty seconds and then win with a throw

better idea for this one

Sparkly Flying Pony - Unlock something, anything

The only grinding achievement I want to see is one that involves how much time you spend in training mode. If you’re going to grind, then put the grinding to good use.

I’m Not Fat!: Use Trichobezoar 3 times in a match.
