I figured your game froze because it said disconnected as soon as the fight started, so don’t worry about it.

Now, about Peacock/Double, remember that the only reason HK Bomber is great is because it has the most priority in the game (invincible until peak height), but you may just have to play it with LK or MK Bomber. LK I think will see more play because it’s quick to throw out, and its bounce wasn’t changed so you hould be able to do item drop into Argus and hit before or during the green bounce. Even if Double doesn’t carry them full screen, you can bet Argus will anyways. So it’s not as terrible as you might think.

In short, you may have to play Double’s assist as if it were an invincible DP from up close like Updo or Pillar. I’m sure you’ll still be able to cross people up by calling assist and teleport, and you might not even use an OTG. Then again I don’t know for sure.

LK and MK Hornet Bomber aren’t as useful for teleport crossups. Only HK goes full screen.

Though it certainly works for its intended purpose, considering she can use it to make teleports safe as she escapes pressure.

EDIT: I think I’ve faced enough Doublebutt tonight to not play against a team with that assist until the patch is out. Just too boring (especially online). Tis why I broke up into playing mostly solos to begin with.

I use mk butt, so nothings really gonna change in the neutral game. only thing getting nerfed about my team is some damage on certain combos;) ggs!

Isn’t the hitbox on the second half of the arc removed now on all the butts? That’s a drastic difference (especially in the online neutral game). Or did I totally misread something?

Though I think you were pretty good on following me up right on the red bounce, so the green bounce shouldn’t affect you much (online in worse lag it might, because you know, online, but that’s same for everyone else too).

I may try out LKbutt post-patch, though I probably will just stick with Solos for the most part as I do now. Throwing butts around is just so… ugh. And trying to get around the butt is fun for the first 5 matches, then it just turns into a giant chore, especially online where most of your mobility feels super sluggish.

I need to get my DPs to come out better and faster. I end up doing waaaay too many crouching or standing regular attacks, and I’m really hoping it’s not a result of my d-pad starting to crap out on me - I’m hoping I’m just incompetent.

SG is my first multi-character fighter. Trying to get the hang of a solo before I add another to the team (probably filia, i like her c.MK and Hairball). Got a lot to learn.
