Haven’t posted here in forever, but thanks. I typically just sit and play whomever in the Unranked rooms since it’s impossible to find anyone to play in Ranked at Tier 6 and beyond (it seems). At least until the patch (whenever that is!)
And actually I`m Chicago, but since there is no ‘Midwest’ option for Region, I figured, “Eh, East Coast is close enough.”
GGs to masochysteria, Voidednull, + CiscoKid_4. Valentines still haunt my sleep.
Hey GGS man, Peacock still has a very firm spot on my post-patch 3 man Double - Filia - Peacock team. I was just more in the mood to see what I could do with Double on point and seeing if I could get some practice with Filia against competent opponents. Glad to see you’re as scary to play as ever.
I’m just trying to soften the blow that losing HK hornet bomber is going to have by not touching the Peacock on point + HK Hornet Bomber format at all. Overall Im in this weird place where Im playing with team orders trying to see what the most optimum setup would be in a 3 man setup, hard to say what the Filia buffs are going to change for her though in terms of overall viability. I’m still under the impression that she’s just hella limited / predictable from a neutral game standpoint.
And GGs Guitalex for sure, weird PS3 crashing moment after you switched teams but I’m really looking forward to seeing what your Peacock is capable of next time we play.
Dunno if you’ve played on the post patch version at all but HK Hornet Bomber is still a real good assist for Peacock. I don’t think you should get too ahead of yourself.
I figured your game froze because it said disconnected as soon as the fight started, so don’t worry about it.
Now, about Peacock/Double, remember that the only reason HK Bomber is great is because it has the most priority in the game (invincible until peak height), but you may just have to play it with LK or MK Bomber. LK I think will see more play because it’s quick to throw out, and its bounce wasn’t changed so you hould be able to do item drop into Argus and hit before or during the green bounce. Even if Double doesn’t carry them full screen, you can bet Argus will anyways. So it’s not as terrible as you might think.
In short, you may have to play Double’s assist as if it were an invincible DP from up close like Updo or Pillar. I’m sure you’ll still be able to cross people up by calling assist and teleport, and you might not even use an OTG. Then again I don’t know for sure.
