Of course not, Greenlight is for the small indie games, like the Indie Games Xbox Live section, Skullgirls already have a place for purchase in various shops and its a confirmed Steamworks game.
If an Indie game appears on XBLA or PSN, the game is very higly approved for Steam to set a launch there.
I wonder what kind of hardware it will require. Could it run eg. on an old laptop (Core 2 Duo, 2GB, some accelerated GPU) ? Would be convenient to play the PC version on the go.
What would be the best way to buy SkullGirls for PC? I want to be able to just put it on a laptop and carry it around, but I know that Steam makes you log in to play games.

It’s funny how it has offline mode but you should be logged in to use it.
I believe if you keep your password in the login screen, then connect to Steam, then go mode offline that It will work forever without need to be online again, only logged in offline mode.
And men, Steam needs to add the game to the store ASAP for the pre order, also I think they need to remove the date “July” from the stores, a lot of people will say “WHERE IS MY GAME?, I WAS SCAMMED CANCEL PRE ORDER” that sounds silly but think the people did the same with Skullgirls launch for consoles that was “delayed” a bit.
I think so too but oddly enough client randomly asks me to retype password when I turn PC on although option “remember my password” is always checked >_>
release date on Gamefly is 31st of July, so it means probably August if they add few days delay.
with low settings probably. you’ll need also a pad or external keyboard, since most laptop keyboards have 2 simultaneous button limit.
When it comes to steam, once you sign on, unless you restart the computer or restart, it shouldnt prompt you for your password. So for portable SG, you should be good.
Nah the date on gamefly Its just a guess from the store, The team repeat a lot “Hopefully on Summer” so August or end of September
you mean from early August till end of September. I cant see why it wouldnt get a release early September…
I hope it will be released at least till 16 of August since it coincides with the release of the other game I want (Virtual Pool 4)
