Skullgirls Media Thread

Everyone saying “boo long combos”… I used to make these things called “combo videos” back before the dawn of time. I enjoy combos and I think flashy ones are really interesting, thus what I make to show off this game is combo video material. Why wouldn’t I do that? They look freakin’ cool! We have a chance to make our publicity more than just recording two interns playing against each other after half an hour of practice, so we do.
You already have tons of matches to watch. Those are what matches look like.
They don’t look like combo videos, because in a combo video you have an unlimited number of tries to get everything right. The Peacock combo is versus-Peacock-specific, corner only, and has several very tight timing portions. It was the same with that Filia/Cerebella showcase combo I did way back at GDC.

Was that 3 or 4 reps of the same shit near the beginning? Isn’t the infinite detection supposed to kick in there?

This isn’t really a discussion thread but I did explain it in the GD forums and on the stream. The detection is there and it counts how many times you do a move or a type of rep. For that I did two reps standing then the last one was crouching. If I did one more it would have probably turned the detection on.
