Skullgirls Media Thread

Is there an alternative to the GT Ms Fortune reveal. Like I’m trying to watch but the frame rate and everything lags.

Fightman Game: INJURY MAXIMUM!

It was on youtube but apparently Viacom took it down somehow…
Did you try using the Gametrailers download link that is built into their player?

Any new news on your PS3 situation?

None yet, had to contact Sony about it. The way things are looking, doesn’t seem like it will be fixed until after the retail release comes out.

Alright I’ve watched every video on Youtube at least TWICE, all of the every stream archive footage, character trailers and anything SG related. No more Stream until after retail release.

AND STILL, NO FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT. I’M MAD IGN, NOT ONLY THAT, I AM MORE DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU THAN USUAL.

FNF Ms. Fortune vs Cere/Fillia/Peacock On IGN

Youtube version of the most recent FNF on IGN’s channel.

OK here’s a random one. It’s two German gamers in a gaming vlog commenting about Skullgirls watching the FNF with Parasoul/Cerebella vs. Peacock/Cerebella/Parasoul. I have no clue what they are saying, but they do talk about the game for like 7 minutes. Starts around

Since im german i can just as well provide a approximate translation of this:
The one guy starts of with telling about how he found out about this a year ago, stating his interest in the game came from possible similarities with Blazblue.
He explains a little about the developers goals to make it accesible to new players and experienced ones alike.
He also goes a little indepht about the characters shown on screen, beeing as well informed as you would be by reading the SG homepage.
Hes keeping it pretty simple about the characters, but talks more about the art style and how much he likes it. Meanwhile the other one repeats what he sais and testifies that he doesnt know anything about it.
The also go a little in depht about the game mechanics. Namely the anti-infinite system, which they are both very excited about(they talk about MvC2 as a bad example of loops here) and the tag system. For the latter they go a little in depht about the differences between the different tag modes and single character gameplay. All in all nothing really deep, but throughout positive, which is what counts i guess.
Also lastly they express their concern about only 4(actually 5, but they miscount) revealed characters and the unfinished stages.
Thats it. Maybe it helps someone here.

Nobody checks the media thread. >_>

Honestly I’ve never seen the appeal of these kinds of threads to begin with! Just makes me have to click more buttons and stuff.

It keeps all the news somewhere nice and clean so you don’t have sift through the GD thread for it.
