I couldn’t even stomach reading the whole Joystiq review. You know the review is going to be painfully bad when the reviewer starts it off with a biased discrimination against the game. Fuck that review, I expected that kind of shit from Kotaku, not from Joystiq.

I fought a Painwheel/Valentine player, he would do insanely long Painwheel combos into some nasty resets, he almost used no meter. When I finally beat Painwheel… ta dah! Lv5 Dark Painwheel rises!!!

I’m disappointed at the stunfest skullgirls tournament in france, my friend just told me that there were very few players (but apparently there were 3 good players), which is sad. Dunno where the videos are too I’ll check youtube later.
Anyone know when the skullgirls.com forums will be up? I doubt SRK will make sub forums for these characters which I think is essential for this game due to its potential depth. I’m hoping Mike Z will implement sub forums for characters in their forums.
Dustloop has Character-forums and Mike/RevLabs post there as well, good solution for the meantime

Is anyone else having problems with finding opponents in ranked matches? My matches always stall on “waiting for a Tier 8 opponent”. I was told I might have my PS3 set up wrong (truth be told, I move my PS3 around alot for tournaments so I only use automatic network setup). Do you think this is the case or is it just a function of no one being on?
I’ve gotten it off a few times, and it has saved my life.
Mike, did you see the last thing I said? I’m just curious if the way I have been writing character moveset ideas and stuff is the way it’s done professional. like what do you and your other designers do when they make an inital playstyle for a character?
Anyway, I’ll probably write some more character stuff today. Gonna be pretty busy though, Mom wants me to help her did holes n the back yard, and try to find the cat she chased away by accident. I think I’ll do Big Band and someone else.

I believe it’s because your tier is high and there are very few people at that same rank. Niniheart I think had problems too, she was tier 9 and couldn’t find anybody except the n°1 dude on the leaderboards that dodged her for some reason.
Yeah, that sounds about right. I think the game just looks for people your tier, and nothing else. They may want to fix it so it looks a tier above and below.
