It isn’t like that on the Xbox though. On the Xbox it just says waiting for an opponent, I don’t think it has the tiers on it.
That’s actually the plan of my team as well.
Quite sorry for the lag, it was terrible even with ggpo set to 8 :/.
Time to use some snapbacks every time I see a painwheel/valentine team.
How much ping can GGPO make up for anyway?

Yeah… 200+ is too much. But thanks anyways, cool team. o/
No worries, I still have 24min guys, anyone on East Coast?
I tested with a friend in NYC, we have around 170-180 ping, if we both set ggpo to 8 the matches actually flow pretty well. We can do combos and setups and react to basic stuff. But of course it doesn’t feel like offline, but feels more like a better sf4 yellow bar match. Which taking the ping and distance into consideration it’s insanely good. o_O
I am, if you wanna face a Valentine who drops her long combos and Peacock that can’t combo at all.
Too bad I guess. Thanks and gg lol.
Man I’m getting really tired of seeing defenders of the game undersell it.
“It’s better than what X puts out these days”
“It’s only 15 dollars”
“It’s a competative game, you can’t complain about those things”
This is a great game on its own right, at any point in fighting game history.
I’ve always taken big issue with letting people off the hook for being indie or budget sense no other medium gives leeway to indie artist in their field, and it isn’t even truly justified here, or even relative in modern day terms with Free-to-play being so prevelant. The moment you excuse the problem a reviewer has with a game as “it’s only 15 dollars” I can guarantee you lost one potential buyer you were trying to recapture. Have you SEEN some of the games on Steam/Xbox/PSN go for 15 dollars? It’s horrendous and you do not want to loop Skullgirls in with that.
By stating that this is solely a competative game you’re also going to lose people. If the game was built for the solely competative market, then it wouldn’t have a story mode and wouldn’t invest so much time in the art and music and voices. AND AGAIN, you’re going to lose people by saying this. There are casual fighting game fans too, and when they hear words like “competative” they think of bad bad bad things.
The game is great and you don’t need to make excuses for it people. Stop it.
Being a fucking hemisphere away from 95% of SRK is kinda lame, I wish I could play you guys. Not even GGPO can salvage an inter-hemispherical match.
Oh, setting the delay to 8 works for 150~180ms pings? I’ll take note of that.
Wanna try any who?
If we set the delay high enough it can become pretty playable.
Also ggs Mwisk_2, hopefully we can play again later.
Just did it, and was definitely playable.
So, anyone else up for some matches? Still can’t find anyone in ranked (even though I’m in tier 6).
Im down, whats your PSN name, mine is the same as my srk name
Boo-ZAWARUDO adding you asap.
Both of you add me and play me after you finish. ^^

You there? I sent you a few invites. I added you Sanger.
So I’ve heard that the Xbox version has long loading times and that hitboxes appear. Are there any other differences between the versions and for which console do you recommend me to get SG for?
In Tatsunoko vs. Capcom if you time out you lose regardless of who has the life lead. I think it’s the same in Marvel, too.
I assumed it would be the same here as well. :\
