I know a lot of girls who are really interested in SG as a game and like watching the whole action. They are definitely not repelled by it.

Do you guys have some sort of office pool going on how long it’ll be before someone completely breaks your game?

LOL
I didn’t realize that at all. Almost want to put that in text somewhere on the shirt lol
Also, as a kind reminder, you shouldn’t quote images.

So don’t get put in the corner by a one character team basically.

If I may ask, Mr.Mike_Z, but in the immediate future, what characters are planned as DLC if this game hits its milestone or whatever you have set in place?

I heard that Squiggly and Umbrella would be released shortly after launch, but I’ve also heard of the other characters being released that are in Double’s Level 3. Is there any validity to this?

Thanks.

so whats the deal with throws.

I seem to get thrown out of EVERYTHING. how much startup to they have?

Speaking of Umbrella though, looking through her concept artwork, am I the only one who thinks that one of her attacks looks a touch… ‘naughty’? Hehe.

Yeah, it’s outdated most likely, but it’s interesting stuff nonetheless.

Rushdown Peacock, nuts to zoning.

After playing Marvel 3 you get used to it.

I think they’re 2 or 3 frame start up IIRC. Luckily they’re attached to LP+LK and not your best H normal like in Marvel 3. Plus there’s actual throw and air throw whiff animations too.

The bigger thing is the timing to escape throws is very tight.

See? You got to beat Mike_Z online! Knew it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Throw start ups were missing from the wiki? Unacceptable!

Ok, I just comfirmed that you CAN just play local matches to unlock the costumes. I just played against an empty controller 25 times, and Cirno Peacock was mine. People who are not that good at the game, and worried about winning 25 times with the 1 character they want that color for, do what I did!

I’ve been making super smile happy eyes at my game for 10minutes, no color yet. I’ll keep you guys updated /resume (^.^)

YOU CHEATER YOU GO DIE IN A…

(Parasoul likes this)

I spent the whole day imagining setups and combos in my mind to try when I got back home. Almost all of them work, some work even better, this process is so delicious.

Hohohoho! The pleasures of improving your own combos and finding some neat setups of your own. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal but since I didn’t have to deal with imports SG is my very first actual fighter I started with everyone else in the world.

I’m bad at this game too, mainly cause I always forget what button does what, and I’m confusing punches for kicks.

just gotta practice more.

This game makes me wish I had a higher dexterity score.

Aren’t we nice? :^) 'cept for dat #10.

Man, the Solobella is strong in this one…

And totally getting ripped up by the Servants of the Skull, Valentine and Double!
Valentine has the mobility to get in when people like to use her slow setups and whiffing her throws, while I have Double put Cthulhu Butt in their faces as my anti-air. My only troubles are Solococks, but Cthulhu Butt usually finds a way. Or just blow a Showstopper to Bionic Car them or Dio Brando them with scalpels then rush in.

I’m really digging how flowing you can be with combos, since (from my experience) once you find a combination of moves that combo into one another (Double being a prime example since as long as you go LAnything > MAnything > HAnything, you can combo the small string, more if you add s.HK into it), the only thing is how to string it all together realistically in a match. It feels like less of a spreadsheet you have to follow and more of an improvised ballet of combos, which is amazing!
