But do you like Mischief Makers?
MM is godlike.
Just sayin’.
I do, but I prefer pretty much every Treasure game before that to it by a wide margin. Mischief Makers had some great stuff in it, but it was too short and didn’t feel like they did everything they could with the mechanics, and that’s something Treasure is usually really good at.
Gunstar Heroes and Dynamite Headdy are some of my favorite games. Some day, I will get to make a game with a Seven Force Tribute boss in it.
I own Alien Soldier and YuYu Hakusho, and paid out the nose for them in Japan in 1997, just so I could have all the Treasure games.

But that’s just like, a purely philosophical concern, you know what I mean? For all practical purposes, Smogon is a “designer” with authority that’s pretty much just as absolute as actual game companies. I think it’s sort of unfair to take such a hardline stance against “house rules” anyway, when you have games like Chess or Poker that are filled with them. If anything, Pokemon is kind of going back to the roots of competitive gaming in that regard, ha.
Most mobile game ever. Shit is fucking awesome.
The guy that did the TAS run did some intense shit with it.

Has this been posted yet?
Have you by any chance played VP2 yet? e___e Im sorta iffy trying it.
Fixed.
:3
But really, what is this Alundra you guys are talking about?
Its…well the combat is fun I can give it that.
RPG Mike said was one of his favorites. Basically reccomended everyone to try it.
Mischief Makers was a real gem. It is too bad every other kid in my neighborhood at the time didn’t try it because they had to SHAKE instead of punch.
It’s a PS1 action RPG that I’m convinced Mike only likes because it’s too hard and/or frustrating for most people.
I’m sure there’s good stuff in it, but I really didn’t like the jumping and everything takes too many hits to kill.
I never got around to it, since it was so late in the PS2’s lifespan. I own it, but it’s still in the shrinkwrap. Knowing Square, there will be a Vita version, so maybe I’ll get around to that?
I’ve heard the battles and things are amazing, but that the story is garbage-y nonsense.
I have played the hell out of Resonance of Fate, though, which is by the Valkyrie Profile team. I highly recommend it.
Yes! The main menu music is the old character select song.
You know what game is awesome? Diddy Kong Racing. Why no one at Reverge has love for that game is beyond me. YOU GUYS JUST DON’T KNOW
I, for one, haven’t seen this nor was I aware of it and I’m not sure how.
DKR is meh.
Crash Team Racing is the best.
Oh fuck, that opening theme and cinema is giving me goosebumps.
I want a gif of the waddling bomb from the loading screen plz
Nah. DKR is the best kart racing game of them all. It’s like mario kart for badasses.
Oh hrm, well hopefully they do I’ll try it then. The videos of the battles do look pretty interesting tho.
Oh trust me I know! I have Resonance! Beat it twice now.
Dat Reanbell didn’t find much liking to Vash TBH.
Double machine guns all day erryday.
I play all of those! Low tier alert, I use Pipsy, Coco, and Luigi. Also +1 Mike for knowing what Tetris Attack IS good gosh.
Also +1 9-tailed kitsune girl~
Fighting game wise, I grew up on Smash Bros, had Soul Calibur 2 for Gamecube, Godzilla Save the Earth for PS2, and Castlevania: Judgement on Wii. I also played Primal Rage in some bowling alley arcade back in younger years… then came dat Mahvel 3.
I’m not competitive, until someone brings Melee in~ or Mario Kart Wii. lol
I hate going to bed. OTL
Im a weird case. Fighting games were not really revelant to me. I did dabble with BlazBlue (CT for christmas and CS because there was bairly any other games I wanted in 2010) but I couldent convince my good friends into getting it so yeah no real skill developed. To put it bluntly, Ratchet and Clank is my gaming life blood. Can’t go too long without replaying one of them again. (How I got into R&C is another and quite elaborate story…). I knew of Skull Girls since it was offically announced but, I was not sold on it yet.
Thinking about it, I think I was truely sold when I had a 4 hour chat with my friends. I brought up Skull Girls and they ended up getting very intrested. My thoughts about the game only got better from there, espically when I found that it wants to teach new players how to be good at fighting games.
