Filia, Squigly are my favs
Parasoul’s trolling potential is what drew me and she’ll be the first character that I’ll be playing. After that it’s Double.
Peacock, and so much I might explode, I might add. I could write a goddamn essay on how much and why I like Peacock ;-;
I was hype for valentine, but she turned out to be very technical and I don’t really like those kind of characters.
I’m still waiting to see how squiggly turns out.
Really learned fighters with 3s. Played heavy 3s and mvc2 with some cvs2 on the side with some ST here and there. Dabbled in everything to Learn the engine a bit (darkstalkers,arcana heart,melty,GG)
Played sf4 for a while but fell off. Really like vanilla BB but never followed up. Was disappointed with mvc3 and have caught the ‘I need to play this game forever’ with skullgirls when I got to play and once again with kof13 because it actually requires solid execution to play (that and my Mexican blood requires me to play it).
Before I just waited for skullgirls but kof has my soul for now. To me it feels like this era’s cvs2 and skullgirls will be the versus game counterpart like mvc2.

First game I played competitively was GG. Back in early slash days. Since then I played way too many games to list.
While MK was one of the first games I remember playing, the first I took semi-seriously was Art of Fighting 2 after enjoying the first AoF, and I branched off to other SNK games (though I never entered any tournaments due to doubting my own ability, also I was like 5).
Anticipating Venus, Marie, and LeDuc.
Under ordinary circumstances, I don’t play fighting games. If this game is trying to attract new blood to the FGC, then the plan is already working – I’m the evidence.
So other than the initial 10, most anticipated DLC?
Leduc seems to be the most popular choice or Panzerfaust.
Big Band for me, I cannot wait to see what he plays like.
Venus for her spatial-bending shenanigans and Annie so I can have a two person team of her and Peacock.
So Annie has a children’s TV show and looks cute. But I expect her to be really battle hardened and world weary because she is immortal and has been fighting Skullgirls for decades if not centuries.
DLC? That’s difficult… Annie, most likely. She’s adorable and besides, I wanna hear Peacock’s quotes when facing her. 8>
Other than her, I’d say the ASG squad. Big Band, Leduc, Ileum, and pink hair lady all look pretty cool. I’d say Marie but I dunno if she’s DLC or not haha
A long ways back I was real scrub like and thought fighting games were all mashing and no skill shits (which is funny because it’s my favorite genre now.). And then I thought that maybe I should play one before thinking such bullshit. I knew it was bullshit, but I was just rather ignorant when I was younger. At least I realized and tried something out. My friend bought a magical game that blew our little fishy minds. It was Guilty Gear. It was fun just mashing around and stuff. I thought I was going to main Bridget just because of the trap factor. And then I came across a very manly character. He didn’t have anything that chained into other moves like other characters (save cl.S, f.S) and I thought that he was the coolest motherfucker ever. He also taught me that 1-2 frame links are the shit. Slayer so godlike.
I’m most interested in Cereballer and Ms. Fortune, but outside of that I have equal hype levels for everyone (in a good way). I don’t really care who becomes DLC though [S]it would be nice to have some grey skin and/or black scleras.[/S]

Oh, and I thought of another character I’d like to see playable… Mrs. Victoria ^3^ She shares my name and teachers are cool. Yeaaah.
If we would ever get to play as her in teacher mode (or hell, even as D. Violet?) it’d be kind of awesome if she had some kind of super involving a school bus 8>
DLC I’m looking forward to the most is Umbrella, love her size, love her look, and I still have a hunch she will channel MvC2 Storm. Second would be Annie. I am on that Annie hype.
Most anticipated character for me is Aura.
I don’t care if she’s not a SG character. >_>
