yea i just thought that was a special case or something, although thinking about it, i have seen people whiff AA sometimes after a throw because they did it too late, so it must not be a super big window.

Question: Is anyone else besides me annoyed that assists have constant collision during their “taunt” phase? Is it supposed to be like that?
Yes, it’s like MvC2 where you can hit them during their exit taunt. In MvC3 they’re invincible and it SUCKS
Do you mean that if you try to dash you can’t run past them? That is annoying sometimes when I’m trying to rushdown and my dash is slowed because theres an assist in the way.
Ah. I keep trying to go after the point instead, and the assists presence just gets in the way…

It’s possible to take away the Assist’s collision box without making the assist invincible. I don’t think you can throw assists anyway and I also have the same problem when some one calls an assist and i’m trying to attack the point character.
It’d be better if you could run passed them, because then it’s a choice of whether you want to attack the assist or not without being forced into the air.
It already does that for someone getting hit by Om Nom Nom. You can hit them, but you can also move right through them. I’d be fine with them doing that to assists that are leaving.
