I’ve played a good solo cock before. Solo cock may not seem threatening, but believe me it is. You will get grabbed so much. you just start mashing grab hoping you get a tech, and then you dont get a tech and you get grabbed because you tried to tech too early, or because you tried to tch too late. and thats when she does the argus agony and pushes you across the sreen, and then you have to run through an insane obstacle course that vaguely reminds you of Boshy. And then when you finally get close enough to something to her, you get grabbed again. Solo cock aint a joke.

i have a solocock on my freinds list and the shit he does is frightening. he regualrly will combo AA twice into itself, he has nasty 50 50s by using item drop combined with jumps and airdashes since he releases it right as he is passing over you. he has unpunishable blockstrings when up close, doesnt spam the teleport so is almost impossible to predict, block stuff on the ground too much and he ll cross you up fullscreen (covered by a bomb or item drop) and start comboing you or reset with a throw.

we played about 15 games and i think i took 3-4 games from him, and the odd round every now and then. im using solobella but is hard work getting in even with armoured runs and item reflects and all that jazz. anybody who says she is F tier without an assist is smoking something.

This actually wouldn’t be THAT bad. Maybe not the corner, but it would be fine if it took her a little further away. Not nearly as broken as the cerecopter thing.

What Peacock needs is a projectile that goes in a downward diagonal motion that she can use in the air. Nothing too broken or damaging, something like Magnetic Blast or even Lightening Sphere (Marvel 3). She has almost no options while she’s running away which a good zoner should have.

You know what? I bet everyone who complained about Double assist probably wont play the game after it gets patched. And then other people will find something to hate and it will get patched. It’s like a cycle that ends when everyone stops playing it

Solo Peacock vs solo Parasoul, feels pretty even to me. Give Parasoul an assist and it’s definitely in her favor. I was fighting a good Parasoul/Peacock team earlier, where Peacocks GDO was used as an assist. It not only negated one of my George calls, giving her the zoning advantage, but it also covered up the few holes in Parasoul’s corner pressure that would’ve allowed me to escape.

No it doesn’t. It implies that she lost something, and states that she didn’t gain anything. Which she didn’t. I’m not saying she’s bad now, and I’m not saying she doesn’t still have other tools, because neither of those statements are true. I even said in the post ya quoted that we’ll deal with it. I just don’t see how you feel Fortune with TOD and oppressive corner pressure is less scary than her without it.

And she was *never *a one trick pony. She can do perfectly well without looping noms a single time. There’s simply little reason NOT to do it.

I’m certain none of the other characters have a 1 frame command grab super. Complaining about what your character doesn’t have in comparison to other characters is never productive. I’m saying that if you know you’ll be punished for using a super in a certain situation, using it anyway is not playing well. If you know that your opponent can punish it, who’s fault is it but yours if you go for it anyway?

Make a combo where the assist pops out and not the point. That and the other suggestions I made are things you should pursue to adapt. If you’ve already tried these things, then you should learn some good meterless punishes. That’s ‘playing well’. Is it ‘fucked up’ that you can’t use Dynamo for easy damage on a happy birthday? Not really. That’s just how the super works. It’s still a good super.

As soon as the very first Nom loop video was out, I asked MikeZ if it was going to be patched. Had he said no, I would’ve bothered. But he said it was going to be patched out so I focused on other broken things.

Now with the head landing at the exact distance to continue air combos from Nom (and no head call during rekkas), air combos, resets and Fiber Upper loops will likely be the norm. Her resets are still tricky, and they still can be confirmed into Noms; just walk to the opposite side before you impart the beatings.

Yeah, but in doing so you’re pushing them away from the corner, which is my only gripe.

Once Nom hits, you simply walk over to the direction of the closest screen edge. Then you know the head will go in the opposite direction of where you are, so you launch, combo into HP, f+HP, qcb+HP or dp+HP (which can lead to various resets) or just reset knowing the head is now immediately underneath you.

Suddenly Fortune’s midscreen game is better to make up for losing broken things.

It’s not immediately noticeable but the more you think about it the more true it becomes. Not to mention she can still negative edge her HP during MP rekkas then let go and do all four (new IPS) ground chains, so she can still put on the corner pressure without going into the broken beyond.
