I can’t lie. If I ever played Cerebella and at any instant you’re in front of me, I’m mashing super. If I’m in a blockstring that I know is tight, if I’m in a blockstring that isn’t a true blockstring, if I suspect a ground throw reset is coming… you know what I’m going to do?
It differs depending on style of play and what you are up against, but her mobility can definitely be a hinderance for things like escaping (since its silly to always depend on NP).
You have to use tears well to make up for it. But anyway you cut it, its super bad against peacock and the mirror at a life disadvantage
Double is the best solo character, people don’t understand. I’ve made so many comebacks on full teams with just double omnisscythe came back on me also with just double with like 10% health. When i lose parasoul it’s like i dont even care cause i know double can bring it back easy, you just need to play someone who knows what they are doing with double. Shes underrated cause most people are ass with her
One weakness of Parasoul is her lack of air mobility options. A lot of people haven’t really abused the fact that they can double jump or air dash to get out of certain reset situations, but Parasoul is forced to take a reset situation. Her Pillar helps her out in thge defending reset department though.
Im pretty sure you can punish between Pillar and the super.
i think you could mash a 360 through that stuff, but then again im not certain exactly how much blockstun napalm pillar has. i usually try and bait out NP xx super by jumping outside its hitbox, and then 360ing them when they cancel it into super.
or if you have the meter, go into level 3 and watch the sparks fly.
I am going to 150% disagree on the matchup statement, Parasoul has the advantage solo, due to the sheer fact that motorcycle egret changes the matchup completely.
Actually solo cock vs Parasoul loses. If the parasoul uses motorcycle grab and napalm shots correctly, peacock sucks im sorry worst character ever pre-patch and Z tier after Patch.
Wow, really? I guess that didn’t go so well. If anything he exposed Filia’s lack of any options aside from “air-dash towards the opponent then do resets”.
Filia’s combo damage is so low that the risk/reward favors going for resets every time. You only ever finish Filia combos if you have two or three meters and can kill the opponent. There was that one guy who played a 3-person team with Filia on point at the stream. He finished his restand combos with Filia almost every time, and all it ever seemed to do was anger the opponent.
Randomly throwing out supers are ass, but I never really understood why mashing them out got such a bad rap. It’s essentially the same as piano-ing a DP on wake-up. While being pressured, it’s like a block/reversal option-select that beats opponents who don’t do their block strings tightly enough.
Remove the “solo” from that statement and I agree.
