So like
Fillia is an amnesiac with a parasite on her head, and she wants to find about her past. Painwheel was (probably) her classmate.
She studied in the same school as Filia.
Now Fillia is STILL studying on her school. So why the fuck she doesn’t ask her teachers or classmates.
I mean it’s not like anyone doesn’t RECOGNIZE her, as Painwheel in batshit insane mode recognize her and Cerebella said something “the new you”
I am kinda wondering what Filia was before Samson. They say she has mafia blood running through her… what if she was an assassin like Black Dahlia?
Could make for interesting DLC is all I’m sayin’. Better than Evil Filia or something.
She was naive, but the depressing and shocking part is that she ended staying loyal to her word to an extent she didn’t imagine.
Her feelings for the piece of shit that Vitale is made her a killer.
I still don’t understand how she could fall for a guy like that. I keep hearing ‘father figure’ tossed around, but he didn’t really seem to do much for her at all. As naive as she is, I expected her to eventually realize her circus crew is her real family.
But that probably would have been too predictable. One of the reasons I actually would have supported branching paths - it could easily be done with just a few extra bits of dialogue and art pieces.
According to the site, Vitale took her from poverty and took care of her.
Ah… that’s explains things, but I wonder why they wouldn’t have put that in the game? Seems pretty important.
That why I want real story mode.
Also I find it a little ironical how Bella’s story is most debatable one despite her being grappler who traditionally has near to none personality.
And in either case Bella isn’t nearly as cruel as Valentine. Haters should think about it for a moment.
Right, but Valentine is billed as one of the game’s key villains. You expect Valentine to be cruel.
She’s supposed to be villain for assisting SG. But in reality she’s not only trying to kill SG but to vanquish Skullheart once and for all. You can say that she’s actually only character who cares >_>
She still very deterministic about it though.
Valentine is basically an extremist, if well-intentioned, who doesn’t care what means she uses to achieve her ends. I think she is pretty interesting in this respect. She has a heroic goal in mind, to eliminate the Skullgirl/end the cycle, but her methods are pretty damn heinous. She’s cool with gratuitous experimentation on live subjects, willing to turn an innocent girl into a monster in order to make sure that the Skullgirl can be subdued for the sake of preventing so much more destruction. It’s kind of… backwards. Yeesh.
Also… I don’t think it’s that she’s the only one who cares, I think it’s that she’s the only one who knows. She’s spent time hanging out with the Skullgirl so she probably learned about its origins during then, right? I think at least a couple of the other characters would also desire to go a step further than just destroying the Skull Heart if they knew that there was someone else behind it (the Trinity?) to defeat. Although I’m not sure how many if any would actually wish to become the Skullgirl in order to get closer to the “true” enemy.
So, in other words, Valentine is this game’s Ash Crimson. He similarly had a noble goal which he met using brutal means and a sadistic personality. Despite him effectively saving the world at his own sacrifice, he didn’t have friends aside from a drug dealer, a street punk and an undead assassin.
I wish i could be friend to a drug dealer so classy as Oswald is.
I also just can’t take Valentine double agent seriously. Specially because the game makes me play the other stories first, and her personality on her story and the other girls stories are so completely different that i just prefer to take her as a total complete bitch with a thing for scars.
Wasn’t Elizabeth his friend? o.O or is she one of those categories. Either way I think your right about Valentine, I like how she is also making Painwheel strive to get [S]angrier[/S] stronger so in case she fails there is someone to defeat her.
Valentine’s “I’m the antagonist who’s only bad to drive the hero to become more powerful” works with my belief that Painwheel’s story really really feels like a classic robot/super robot style story, where only hotblooded yelling, standing with your friends, and more yelling is the only way to save the world from the forces of evil science. Brain Drain’s look just drives that feeling home since he looks very old-school anime with that exposed brain.
So I’m just waiting for her to get a super command grab based on shining finger. That would be so awesome.
Basically she is. She IS a total complete bitch with a thing for scars whose goal is to put an end to skullheart.
I see Valentine as a psychopath who is directing herself in a productive way.
There is a lot of hope for Marie as DLC:
Considering the endings we have received, I fear this is a possible ending for her.
I have a totally unsubstantiated feeling that Marie will get the best story mode. but that’s just going by how justice has the best story mode in both GGXX and AC+.
or we’re just getting a power rangers parody, like deathbringer’s story in battle fantasia. o_O
Speaking about Marie…
