When I was younger I wanted a shit load of tech decks, so I wouldnt have to buy decks based on how cool the graphics looked.
I was unaware that people took fingerboards so seriously.
i don’t really take it super seriously, some do. it’s just a something to do when i’m bored, but i got really good at it seeing how i sat at a desk for 8 hours a day and the another 4 hours working at a skate shop where no one ever came in.
on another note, anyone catch batb this weekend? busenitz killed it, he was skating so fast even when playing skate.

not for awhile, i don’t think there has been any news of them filming for a video. I know Hsu is filming for the Emerica video, but other than that nothing. Clark Hassler didn’t even film for the Nike Debacle video.

Where do you guys order your decks etc… from? I’ve not owned a board for approx 2 years now since my last one was in my car when it was stolen. I’m looking to get the Carroll or Koston Where the Wilds Things Are deck. I’m dying to get back on the stuntwood but don’t wanna pay too much. It seems you pay a premium for GIRL shit too so I may be screwed.

Skatepark of Tampa has a great online shop, and they send you tons of free shit, including stickers and a magazine with every order. (I’m kind of partial to them since I work with them so much. Skater owned business though, 100%)
I forgot where I bought my first complete, but it was an Alien Workshop Robbie D pro model complete and it only cost 70 dollars.
Now of course the trucks, wheels, and bearings were stock.
I ended up replacing the bearings, so now it rolls good.
