My skate holiday is easter. Sucks that one of the big spots is across from the Nazi-esque first baptist megachurch downtown.
What’s the best way to clean bearings out?
My wheels are making these weird ass grinding noises, and some of them spin a lot longer than others.
I know for a fact this shit can’t be safe.
I’m almost debating just getting some new one’s, but I don’t want to wait around.
Just get some bearing lubricant like tri-flow, like I mentioned before. Just put it on there, and roll around for a minute, and it’ll work itself out. If not, pop off the shields, and then try it. (if your bearings have removable shields.)
Where can I buy Tri-FLow?
From Home Depot and if so, how much?
Everyone should download Debacle now, it shits on “Nothing But the Truth”, and its free lol.
My shop sold it for like 3 bucks for a small bottle. Here’s the website. Dunno where you can get online though.

Edit: you can order it from the site. This bottle will last you for years.

Swell.
Thanks for the links.
And I peeped that SB video and it’s sick. Is it me or are a lot of these ams better than some pro’s? :looney:
Well, the whole term of am is kinda sketchy, it usually depends on a companies situation. If Alien wasnt stocked full of active skaters Grant Taylor would probably be a pro by now, same with Theo and his situation at Baker.
Look at Benny Fairfax, Stereo had room to make him pro so they did. But before BATB no one knew who he was.
Ams just try harder, that’s all.
The harder your wheels are, the higher your board will pop. I fuggin hate soft wheels.
I soaked mine in water for 4 days and they’re way more solid now.
I had a soft wheel loving phase after watching some random ricta vid on youtube, then I went back to good ol spitfires.
Are hard wheels those bigger looking wheels?
Thinking about copping some new wheels and bearings tomorrow, because I’ve been grounded of late. Stuck doing stuff stationary.
My board rides like ass now. I’ve ridden the thing to hell and back, and haven’t been taking care of maintenance.
Greg Lutzka is on K-swiss lmao

Batb 2 started. Chris Cole advances as expected, but the game was good since Mike V threw all that no foot-plants no hand-plants no no-comply rule out the window.
Hey he might have won too if he didn’t bail that ho ho street plant.
Ughhh Mike V.
That guy irks the hell outta me for some reason. Not feeling his steez at all
WTF

I’m not one to knock anybodies community, and I have a lot of respect for somebody that is really good at anything he does, but damn I didn’t know they had competitive finger boarding. I thought it was just a fad, just like Beanie Babies or something.
It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m also aware that as weird as it looks, it’s fucking difficult to do.
On another weird note. Anyone peep that Street Dreams video yet?
It features P-Rod. Also has Robbie D, T-K, Ryan Dunn(Wild Boys/Jackass), and probably some other people

Looks interesting from a Skater’s aspect, but from watching the trailer I can tell that it’s super tongue-in-cheek
Man those finger boarders even have there own broke ass version of Jake Phelps.
I can see why you wouldn’t feel Mike V, he does his own thing and it’s not always the standard definition of cool. I respect him somewhat and met him in real life and he was not an ass hole at all, but I was pretty young so he may have just been being nice to me cause I was a kid. He even gave me the low down on the infamous fight he had featured in the CKY video where he scraps a bunch of jocks.
He said him and Chalmers were stopping at a 7/11 to get some beverages, apparently chalmers got some milk and the jocks were like “Oh lookit the skaters with there fuckin MILK” and they had beers or something, he may have said they chucked a beer I don’t remember too clearly, but they exchanged words and bang the clip just happened.
that broke ass jake phelps you are reffering to is martin winkler, one of the nicest guys i’ve ever met.
most of those dudes in that video also skateboard, and are really really good, so no hate please. it’s just a hobby like anything else, if you say toys are for kids, well so are video games, so who cares really.
i’ve been skating for 8 years and i’ve fingerboarded for about 2, you cant skate all the time so why not do something skateboarding related.
That kid in the green shirt early in the vid really creeped the shit out of me for some reason.
The summer is overrated, its too fucking hot to skate down here. And its humid as all hell.
that’s mike, he’s my wheel sponsor. yeh, he’s alittle weird, but he’s pretty smart and is freakin rich now.
www.flatfacefingerboards.com
after you look at that site i know your first question will be, why is all that shit for a toy so expensive, and do people actually buy it.
just like real skateboarding, if you want better stuff, you gotta pay.
